I stayed in this cottage for three weeks this winter. It is relatively small with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, but it is clean, a relatively newly renovated. The driveway is narrow and small and a little bit of a pain to get in/out of with my pickup, but overall it was very good.
Lovely, clean, beautiful location and welcoming hosts
We stayed here with friends for 9 nights. A perfect base for playing pickleball with friends in Sebring. The sunsets from the dock were magnificent. All the essentials are present and if you have any issues the hosts are in the main house. Thank you Kristina and family.

Is it what you thought it would be?
Stayed in January of 2020. Property was very clean and well stocked for our stay which was much appreciated. When we arrived, the key was not in the lock box as was stated in the arrival instructions so we had to go to her house to get it. The neighborhood was nice, however there were caged dogs across the street who barked at anything that moved morning, noon and night. Be careful of the pictures online. They make it look like you have a pool and a hot tub in your backyard. No, they are in HER backyard. In order to use them, you must go to HER house. We felt extremely uncomfortable doing that. We felt that would be awkward swimming in her pool while she and her family are in or around the house . That's not what we thought we were getting, based on the pictures. After seeing the set up, we looked back at the write up and they do say you have "access to" a pool and hot tub. They do NOT say, "but you have to walk over to our house to use them". We were very disappointed in that for sure! The lake is beautiful! But again, you have to walk down the street and into her yard to access it. It is NOT in your backyard. There is definitely not a private place to sit by the lake and enjoy the sun. We felt awkward using her dock and would have felt the same sitting in her yard to sunbath. The backyard of the rental is full of trees and there is no patio or anything back there to sit. We ended up sitting in the driveway. Also, know that the house has a three car garage attached to it. You will use the car port on the opposite side. They use this garage for themselves and EACH morning at approximately 6:45. we were awakened by the garage door going up and the truck rumbling out. If you don't mind things like dogs barking, walking into someone else's personal home area to get to a pool, hot tub or lake and garage doors going up early in the morning, then this is the place for you. Again, the house was beautiful and very clean. Is it what you thought it would be, based on the pictures? You can decide.

I am sorry you felt things were not as you anticipated. We feel the description is very clear that the lake, pool, and hot tub are next door at the owner's home if you read all the information. We tried to make that as clear as possible and do not want to mislead anyone. We have not had anyone else so far who was not aware of how the property is laid out. Furthermore, we try to personally invite everyone over to enjoy those things, as I did with you. It is not a bother for us. The key should always be in the lockbox at arrival; however, the guests before you did not return it to the lockbox per instructions so that situation was out of our control. We are addressing and fixing other issues so guests will have a perfect experience. Thanks!
This place is amazing. Place is spotless. You have the whole place to yourself and access to the waterfront. Breathless sunsets. If we return to this area we will absolutly attempt to stay here.
Plenty of room for four people. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ facilities. Beautiful grounds with access to pool and lake. Seclusion with easy access to shopping and sites. Kristina and her family were great hosts, responding promptly to any questions!
