Love the mountains of NC and the excellent cabin. The kitchen was equipped to make meals for our family of four, the beds were comfy, the location exactly what we wanted. Close to Bryson City and the surrounding Nantahala Forest and the Smokies. Fontana Lake was at the bottom of our hill and we went paddleboarding there. Loved it!
This cabin was extremely clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was so relaxing and the porch was a perfect spot to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book in the morning. My family and I all enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this place.
Cabin had everything we needed for a quiet mountain weekend. Located 15 mins from town and everything we needed while in the area. Host communicated well when we had questions. Overall great experience.
It was a beautiful, clean home with plenty of privacy. We loved the convenient location to the Nantahala River and activities. It was a very easy check in and check out. The house was equipped with all we needed as well. We really enjoyed it and had a great stay! We would definitely do it again.
Great smokies getaway, beautiful house, correct as per online description and other reviews. Great for families, we had parents who could not climb stairs and it worked out real well with just a few steps up and down and the car driving all the way to cabin. Close to lot of activities.
Property was as described. We found it easily with the directions provided and via Google
maps. I worry about large places sometimes not being clean, but this place was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the park-style grill and evening in the hot tub. Even saw the aurora borealis while there! Good base for our visit to Joyce Kilmer, hiking in Nantahala National Forest, Bryson City, and Great Smokey Mountain National Park.
We came for a quick getaway for my son’s Birthday. We had a great time. The cabin was clean and had all the necessities needed. We visited Bryson City and the Casino in Cherokee. We had a day of rain but enjoyed hanging out at the cabin relaxing. My son enjoyed the hot tub. I would definitely recommend this cabin!
Great cabin to get away from it all. There were plenty of bedrooms and we made good use of the fire pit and hot tub. It was lovely to look down and see the river. The only disappointing spot in our weekend is not seeing a bear. Guess we will have to come back and try again. 😀
We enjoyed the house. It is a little bit of a trek to get to it. The rain did dampen our spirits a bit but we found things to do. As I noted to Mngrs, the kitchen sink leaks and I tried to cut off the water at the valves but they do not work properly.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for letting us know that the sink started leaking; it has been fixed.
My family of 5 stayed here for our spring break. It was the perfect spot. Beautiful home, perfect view. Checking in and out was very easy. Communication was excellent with owner. House was clean. Plenty of cookware, for the nights/mornings you want to cook. We would definitely stay here again. Oh and the drive up to the home isn't as bad as I thought, just a little rough. Just take it easy!
Location for our vacay was PERFECT! Went to the wsterfalls, so very beautiful. Visited Cheerokee, was a little disappointed bc the village was closed, only open in the summer. Plenty of shops! Just not what I expected. Our last day we went to The Tunnel To Nowhere, that was pretty cool. And I would definitely recommend checking out Sheffield Mining. The guy that helped us was amazing and the kids absolutely enjoyed that experience.

Great spot, difficult owners
The house is lovely and in a a great location. We were able to enjoy solitude and adventure. We worked and schooled from the location and the internet was adequate, though sometimes spotty. We did lose power several times during our stay.
While the owners were responsive and courteous initially, they were became accusatory and angry. After check out, they accused us of not declaring our dogs (that we’re clearly discussed in our initial conversations in writing). They said there was dog hair in the hot tub and accused us of putting the dogs in the hot tub, which we surely did not. There was a broken bin in the fridge when we arrived and they accused (did not ask) us of breaking it. Regardless, we said because we did not declare it when we arrived, we said we would pay for it. The bar to the hot tub holder broke when we placed the cover into the holder. It was clear there was some previous damage to the holder given the easy break. Also, regardless, we offered to pay for it but they said they would need to buy an entirely new cover now. The list can go on. We are generally pretty laid back people and would just assume pay for a small item rather than fight about it. We’ve stayed at many short term rentals in the past and only received 5 stars. We were taken aback and disappointed in how the owners approached us.
I might suggest if you are considering renting this house and have pets, to find a different location as I do not see the expectations for renting to pets aligning with the reality of hosting pets.
Overall, the area was lovely and we had a fantastic month. The sour note the rental ended on was unfortunate.

We’re sorry that your rental ended on a sour note. After your checkout, the cleaners did report that the hot-tub cover holder/lifter was broken, a refrigerator bin was broken, and there were dog paw-print stains on the sheets.
If you understood that the hot tub cover had to be replaced, then we apologize for the miscommunication; it was the holder/lifter unit needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, in the remote location, for a spa technician to order and install the spa cover holder/lifter was $300.
If the fridge was broken, then you should have reported it upon check-in. We have no reason to doubt our cleaner’s account.
Our house rules state that pets are not allowed on the beds, so that guests do not incur additional cleaning fees, if the cleaner has to deep clean sheets or have them professionally laundered/dry cleaned.
With the broken hot tub holder/lifter, the broken fridge bin, and extra cleaning fee that we were charged, we unfortunately had to make a claim against your damage deposit.
The cabin was perfect for our group of two couples with kids and had a beautiful view. We had a great visit and enjoyed the large porches, hot tub, and open layout that was still cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions. Thank you!
Perfect for our trout fishing trip. Just a few minutes from the water. This house has a nice layout and is very cozy. The host was always quick to respond and seemed happy to assist.
Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. We had a wonderful time. The road up tested our nerve a bit but we got used to it. Could update suggestion book with attractions and supply locations that are close by, we discovered more places to visit on our own that were not an hour’s drive away. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.

This is a beautiful fully remodeled cabin located in a very private area but uniquely close to everything the beautiful western North Carolina mountains offer. Very close to Nantahala gorge and outdoor center for whitewater rafting and kayaking, fishing and hunting, the GSMNP and the GSMNP scenic train (Thomas the train, Polar Express, and other seasonal themed train experiences), hiking, Elk viewing, antiquing, quaint towns for lunching and shopping or just hanging at the cabin and relaxing.
What makes this property unique
Seems remote yet conveniently located for all of the activities the Western North Carolina mountains have to offer.
