With decor inspired by the colors of the sea, Ocean Hues is a beautifully decorated, restful retreat where you can enjoy spending time with family and friends. With accommodations for eight people, Ocean Hues offers two master bedrooms with one upstairs and one downstairs. This lovely home features a fully equipped kitchen and includes a well-stocked spice cabinet. The custom dining table seats 12 people where you can enjoy meals with your whole family, play board games, and work on a jigsaw puzzle all week. The upstairs game cabinet is stocked with classic board games and puzzles. This Smart home has a Sonos sound system equipped with an Echo “Alexa" voice-activated assistant in the family room, master bedroom, upstairs loft and screened porch. Download the Sonos app on your phone or iPad to listen to your own playlist or ask Alexa to play the style of music you enjoy. Smart TVs are located in the family room, upstairs loft and screened back porch. The screened porch also features a lovely tabby fireplace. Ocean Hues in Ocean Oaks is located adjacent to one of Jekyll’s most beautiful white-duned beaches which is accessible at all tides.


This property comes with access to a the pool and pavilion in the complex of Ocean Oaks.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a family of 6 (4 boys ages 9, 11, 15 & 18) to Jekyll Island for the week at Ocean Hues. The house was exactly as described & as the images depict. The house is in a quiet neigborhood. Beach boardwalk access & pool is less than 100 steps from the front porch. There are steps up to the boardwalk & down to the beach but the boardwalk winds through the scrub forest dunes and is awesome in its own right. We rented a 6 person golf cart & 4 bikes. We were able to explore the whole island & the boys found all kinds of great fishing locations. The property managment team checked in with us regularly. We have never gone to the same place on vacation for 22 years and we all agree Jekyll Island & Ocean Hues would be a slam dunk repeat spot for us.

We had an amazing time at Ocean Hues!! Spent Thanksgiving here with the family, plenty of room for our family of 8! Clean house stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook, quiet neighborhood, so close to the beach (4 minute walk across private boardwalk!). Walked the beach, biked, saw the lights, watched football, played games. We made so many memories and almost cried when we left! Already planning out next trip back! Thank you for opening up your home to us! It's beautiful!

Awesome beach cottage

Best stocked kitchen I have ever seen! Love that it had 3 king beds. One king on master and 2 kings upstairs, plus a queen bed and queen pull out. Pool is a short stroll down the street. Walkable beach access. There are 2 sets of stairs on beach walkway so if ur taking a beach cart or stroller, u need 2 people to lift it up the stairs. Would rent again.

This is my first time not staying ON the beach which I was nervous about but that was never an issue and we all had a great and easy time. I will say the steps down to the beach are a trek if you have wagons and suck like we did but we still made it work. The neighborhood pool is wonderful too! We even opted to stay an extra night the night before we were supposed to leave bc we were enjoying it so much.

It's on the quieter end of the island (although the whole island is pretty quiet), and has easy access to the beach and the bike path. The kitchen is very well equipped. We had only one small problem during our stay (a stopped shower drain) and the rental company took care of it right away. It was a perfect property for our large group of four couples.
