About this property

Alpine Escapes at the Banff Boundary Lodge

Create your own Alpine Escape in our townhouse style property located in the Hamlet of Harvie Heights, 5 min from the centre of Canmore and a minute from Banff National Park’s East Gate.

Our home is located in the Lady McDonald building of the Banff Boundary Lodge, and is a bright corner unit flooded with natural sunlight, boasting incredible views. There is a gas fireplace for those cooler winters evenings, in floor heating & a fully-equipped kitchen for any culinary needs!

Our 2 storey upper floor townhouse features two spacious bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. With a king size bed in the master bedroom, two double size beds in the second bedroom, and a queen size pull-out sofa bed in the living room. A cot for an infant/toddler can be provided upon request.

You’ll have at your disposal:-
- a fully equipped kitchen.
- WiFi (no charge).
- Free parking.
- Outdoor hot tub (a brand new luxury model), we also supply robes (handy for going back and forth to the hot tub). *PLEASE NOTE DUE TO COVID AND THE ALBERTA GOVERNMENT IMPOSED RESTRICTIONS THE HOT TUB IS CURRENTLY CLOSED*
- Laundry facilities (coin operated, located in the main building).
- Fire Pit Area (communal, adjacent to our unit).
- BBQ’s (communal, adjacent to our unit).
- electronic lock ( no worries about key management).

- Downtown Canmore & Banff - both with great dining and boutique shopping options.
- 4 World class Skiing and Snowboarding areas: Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard Resort, Lake Louse Ski Resort, Mount Norquay and also Nakiska located in Kananaskis Provincial park - all within an hour’s drive.
- as much Back Country skiing as you can handle.
- Canmore Nordic Centre - World class venue - for Nordic skiing & fat biking in the winter and trail running and mountain on biking in the summer.
- 2 Frisbee Golf Courses.
- World Class Golf: Silvertip Golf Course, Canmore Golf and Curling Club, Stewart Creek Golf Club, Kananaskis Golf Course and of course the Banff Springs Golf Course too - all within 20 minutes.

Having the location outside of canmore, is really nice and relaxing. Being able to use the hottub, looking out at the mountains, makes things even better. Unfortunately the coffee maker, and soap dispensers didn’t work, so we had to work around those issues

Perfect retreat close to skiing

This rental was such a good value, While this rental was more affordable than others we looked at in Banff and Canmore, I’m not sure why. While the original condos are older, the recent remodel makes it such a comfortable stay. There are great perks like high end mattresses (or at least they feel that way) and reading light right in the headboard. The whole family loved the robes available and while the kitchen appliances are older, it had everything we needed for cooking. We plan to come back to this rental next year.
