Great to have a beautiful place in the woods that you can bring dogs and kids!Chuck and Valda had homemade treats for us, everything was clean and orderly and the property has great history right on the creek!

We had a great time! The property was absolutely beautiful. Our kids loved having their own bunkhouse to stay in. The outdoor deck/dining area with fireplace was a highlight for our whole family. The hosts were amazing and so welcoming, like we were family. They provided everything we would possibly need for our stay. We can't wait to come back for another stay in the future.

Chuck and Valda are the best hosts you could ask for! They provided helpful clear directions, shared fun historical stories about the property, and have all of the local suggestions on what to check out. This area is full of great places and we can't wait to come back and explore more! The cabins are cute, cozy, and offer anything you could need, within the most peaceful beaitiful area.

The mountain location with a nearby creek was exceptional. The fresh air, starry skies, and true quiet was rejuvenating. We will also miss the owner’s dog Robel; she was so sweet.

Wonderful stay with personable hosts

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and the hosts were so nice and accommodating. We definitely plan on coming back for more outdoor time in the summer!

Lovely Cabin

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Gorgeous location, beautiful cabin with so many thoughtful extras. Valda made us homade ice cream and cookies that were absolutely devine and Chuck was so kind and full of interesting lore! We were all sad to leave, but can't wait to come back! Amazing!

Beautiful property

Gorgeous setting! Kids enjoyed having the bunkhouse to themselves, while my husband and I enjoyed the quiet of the main cabin!

We had a great trip and our hosts definitely made the stay even better. We had everything we needed and the property was beautiful! If you want the cabin in the woods experience, this is it! You can leave your windows open and hear the running creek water. So peaceful! Plenty of places for our pups to enjoy around the property, including a great walking trail.
Outdoor area, great for walking the dogs and seeing butterflies.

A great last minute trip

A great cabin and bunk house in a beautiful location! Valda was great, she took the time to meet us and tell us about the area! The best part is they are dog friendly! Definitely will be booking with them again!

Peaceful getaway in nature

Easy and amazing

Absolutely lovely place to stay with amazing hosts. Nestled in the mountains almost in the middle of johnsonville and Ashville this is a perfect, quiet and peaceful location. We will definitely be going back in the warmer weather months

Beautiful cabins and property

We absolutely loved our time at these cabins. The kids happily played in the creek and were thrilled exploring the property. Our hosts were wonderful and you could tell how much they loved the property. A visit to Rock Fork Park is highly recommended!
