ONLY 2 MILES TO LAKE ENTRANCE, NEW BREWERY, WINERY, DISTILLERY. Remodeled Log Cabin with luxury pillows, sheets, towels. Use our State Park pass to save $7 dollars a day. Our wooded park like property is next to a creek where deer & wildlife live. Enjoy the screened in front porch or the back deck that opens into the woods with a perfect layout including 14 foot swimspa, fire pit & propane grill. Downstairs Master bedroom. Matching queen beds in loft bedroom upstairs, electric fireplace, AC/heat, complete kitchen items, luxury grill with stovetop burners, 50 inch Smart TV with Bluetooth sound bar, High Speed internet, DIRECTV. Cell phones work great. 2 fire pits in a quiet wooded setting. WE ALWAYS OFFER EARLY CHECKIN AND CHECK OUT WHEN AVAILABLE! No boat parking, however offered up the road. Swimspa HOT YEAR ROUND

When using Hot tub/ Swim spa , Remember there are certain health risk associated with using any hot tub spa. The water temperature should never be over 104°. Do not drink alcohol or take medication without consulting a doctor in advance. Pregnant women should anever use a hot tub. Youth under 16 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Pets are never permitted in the hot tub water. Please shower before and after hot tub usage to avoid skin irritation, outdoor shower provided. Also do not wear any oil’s or Lotions, bug repellent in hot tub water. Always make sure your feet are clean and leaves and debris stay out of the water. Do not sit or stand on hot tub covers or mounted wooded bar along the length of the swim spa. Covers are NOT designed to support a person or persons as they will break and you will be charged for replacement. Please keep spa covers on the spa when not in use to keep the spa hot. The spa water condition is checked before and after guest arrival and departure. Upon check-in if you notice anything wrong with the spa please contact the hostess or host immediately . Your cooperation is much appreciated. Each person using the hot tub will need to sign a waiver agreeing to these conditions and releasing the homeowner of any liability before using the hot tub spa. We would like to point out this region of Indiana has hills. Even the Patoka Lake boat launches are mostly on hills. The State of Indiana Police patrols the State and County Roads and enforces the speed limit. NO BOATS. The Shaded Log Cabin is on a private road which does not have any cross traffic. It is a very rural quiet setting. Most all the Log Cabins‘s on the private road are second homes. We hope you make our Log Cabin your Log Cabin on a regular basis.

By using the hot tub, you agree that you are using it at your own risk. You’ll be asked to sign a hot tub waiver outline safety rules and procedures.
Upon check out all guest are requested to place towels and sheets that have been used either in the bathtub or in a pile in the center of the bed.

We had a great stay, three generations as a Christmas gift for my mom. The host was incredibly accommodating to all of our requests and we were so happy to bring our dog and enjoy a lovely cabin as a family. The hot tub was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the front and back porch and are hopeful to be able to return in nicer weather to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor amenities as well.

LOVED this cabin. We spent Thanksgiving here (Family of 4 dog) and found the cabin to be SO WELL STOCKED with cookware and coffee :) Close to hiking and French Lick. Host was quick to respond when internet went down- due to regional outage, not fault of the owner. The hot tub was WONDERFUL on a cold autumn night after long days of walking in the woods :) CLose to winery/brewery too! Definitely a good family Thanksgiving weekend memory made here!

Our long weekend at Shaded Log Cabin was great! Loved having the fire pit and swim spa. We watched squirrels, chipmunks, and deer in the woods. Not as private as we would have liked but was a great place to stay. Very clean and well stocked. We loved relaxing on the porches.

The “Shaded Log Cabin” has a wonderful canopy of trees that shades the entire property as we are in the woods with lots of Deer. All the furniture and finishes in the cabin are brand new. We have a brand new refrigerator, freezer with an icemaker that produces up to 4 pounds of ice a day. Brand new stove. All of our sheets towels and bedding are premium and comfortable. Our brand new back deck backs right up to the Forrest. Our 14 foot Swim Spa is an amazing combination of a pool and a hot tub. We have the only Swim Spa at the lake. This premium unit will offer you a unique experience. Swim, spa and Relax In the most comfortable log cabin in the area! “Our cabin is your cabin”

What makes this property unique

Our Swimspa is 14 feet. Turn on the Jets on and swim into the current and swim at your own pace and comfort. A custom wood bar is built right onto the Swim Spa with four barstools. Take your food off the grill and eat right at the spa. This is a unique experience you will find nowhere else at Patoka Lake. Also a fire pit is off the back deck and Swim Spa. The front of the cabin has a screened in porch with ceiling fans. This is the area we feed our deer and wildlife friends. The front of the cabin has a park like setting. Enjoy the front fire pit and front yard next to out creek where the deer live. Use our night vision goggles and night scope to see the wildlife at night. “Our cabin is your cabin”
