Cabin with amazing views & fully stocked pond for fishing minutes from Patoka

The master bedroom is on the upper level a loft with a king size bed with a master bath with a walk-in shower, the guest bedroom has a queen size bed and a guest bathroom with a shower tub, the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and dark stained cabinets give you the ultimate home feel. The kitchen has a toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, Keurig coffee machine, 4 burner flat top stove and microwave oven, the kitchen is stocked with pots and pans kitchen utensils grilling utensils and knives, electric skillet and crock pot, the refrigerator has ice maker and filtered water, the living room is my favorite spot in this cabin with cathedral pine ceiling with cathedral windows and a beautiful rock fireplace with gas logs, walk out from the living room onto the deck and enjoy the outside where you can set and take in the countryside or grill your favorite meal on the gas grill over looking the pond area, you can also enjoy the 5 person hot tub that sets on the front porch, a full size washer and dryers is in the cabin, for extra sleeping area their is a sleeper sofa in the living room and a queen size air up mattress in the closet, the pond is open for fishing we do have it fully stocked for catch and release.

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin and hot tub was clean. Pond was great. I didn't realize the train tracks were that close but got used to the trains. Loved watching the cows! Loved the firepit swings!

Relaxing Getaway

Had a great time at the cabin. It is beautiful and well taken care. We were there with our friends and the guys had a lot of fun fishing in the pond. Will definitely go back again.

Nice getaway. Lots of trains going by very, very closely on a curve so you hear thembig time putting on the brakes. Lit up at night from the Dollar General very close. Not as secluded as we hoped.

The cabin was very comfortable, and had everything one could need for a weekend getaway of 4-6 adults. The price was very reasonable as well; we have zero complaints! Notable positives: - Easy access to cabin, no steep roads for access- Large Dollar General within walking distance- Generously stocked kitchen, cleaning closet, bed linens & etc- Great outdoor spaces, from the large porch table to the hot tub and fishing pond; we even got to see some grazing cows next door- The area feels safe but also private, so you can relax without worry- Maybe we just got lucky, but a very friendly orange and white cat showed up on Saturday and hung out most of the night; he was the sweetest.- There is a train track that's basically on the property, some people might find it loud, but we personally found it very exciting to go out and watch it's lights through the trees at night - a stunning, unique sight that we couldn't get enough of (image attached).

One of the best VRBO’s we have stayed at. So clean & accomidating. The pond was super fun to fish in, the hottub was super clean and the property was very well maintained even to the landscaping outside. The swings by the fire pit & the neighboring cows were a hoot! I had some worries with reading other reviews about the train, but honestly it was a cool experience to watch them come by and the kids loved it too. We are already looking at dates to come stay again because it was such a wonderful experience. Thank you!!

Little slice of heaven on the hill!

House was very clean and beautiful, views were great. The check in process was easy and Owners communication was spot on. Arrived with a nice gift from owner, wonderful bottle of wine and a couple treats. Highly recommend going to the Schwartz Family Restaurant down the road.

We loved the cabin & the area. Very close to Patoka Lake. Only about 20 mins to French Lick. Very nice property. Would definitely stay here again.
