Quiet Comfortable Cabin 5 Min. Walk to Swimming and Boating

Remember the simple pleasures of a country, lakeside vacation where you can spend the day swimming or boating, exploring the countryside, or just read the afternoon away on the screened-in porch? Get back to those simple pleasures in our cabin, located in a beautiful, quiet country setting in the heart of the Berkshire Mountains. The cabin is just a five minute walk to a lake where you can swim, fish (catch and release-permit required), kayak or canoe (boats, paddles and life jackets provided). Or spend the day exploring the many surrounding towns with antiques, restaurants and shopping galore; take a drive down a country road looking for roadside farm stands; go for a long walk in the woods; or explore the nearby rock quarry (the app AllTrails is a must have for this!). At night, have dinner at an outdoor restaurant, grill on the deck, relax with a glass of wine on the porch, roast marshmallows, do a puzzle, or enjoy your favorite streaming on our Roku TV with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and more. The house has one large main room with living and kitchen areas, and two small bedrooms.
The larger room has a queen bed with a comfy mattress and luxurious linens. The smaller bedroom has a full-size bed and narrow twin upper bunk (for children only). There is a cozy screened-in front porch with lounge furniture and fan, and a back deck with gas grill and seating for four. Between the natural setting and nearby cultural and outdoor attractions, you're sure to find plenty to do here to relax and have fun at a safe distance from others.

The cabin is kind if a self contained oasis. It has everything you might want, is very comfortable and close enough to Lee, Stockbridge and even North Adams. It would be perfect for a family or a couple. I stayed to meditate, quietly play acoustic guitar on the nice screen porch, practice Tai Chi and visit the area. All delightful! Thank you. :)

Excellent stay for my family and I during Memorial Day weekend. Though the weather was less than ideal (rainy and overcast throughout), the cabin itself made for a cozy experience. The cabin was comfortable, fully stocked with all the essentials, and the covered porch was an awesome space to enjoy a cup of tea with the pattering rain offering a delightful ambience. Host was easy to communicate with and had a bottle of wine sitting for us at the table. The only downside was us realizing how we're very much city people, as every rustle of leaves, unfamiliar sound, and the pitch darkness of the forest left us terrified (probably didn't help that we were watching horror movies all weekend.) Also, on one evening as we were driving back, we saw a group of bear cubs tousling right on the road outside the cabin! They were very cute, but you'd best believe I spent the night reading up on bear attacks. All in all, would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome hotel alterntive to launch off and enjoy all this area has to offer. Cabin was immaculate, well stocked and comfortable. Communication with owner and check in super easy.
