We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The space was cozy and impeccably clean, which made it the perfect home base for our trip in the Hill Country.Pablo was an excellent host—very responsive to messages and generous with local recommendations. We were especially grateful for the thoughtful welcome package they left for us. While we had brought some supplies, having the extra goodies was such a nice touch, and we really appreciated some of the snacks when we were out hiking the next day! It was such a considerate touch that really set the tone for our stay. We'd happily return and recommend this cottage to others!

I have family in Medina so I go there a lot and try to stay at this little house as much as possible. It’s comfortable and the location is perfect.
When I go to Medina to visit family I always try to rent this house. We are always so comfortable and happy when there.
I highly recommend staying here.
Me and my family enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and more. The area was quiet, was nice just being away from the city. Some good memories for sure were made here.

Dear Esther,
thank you for your kind words. We are very honored to share our cottage and help you make countryside memories along with your loved ones. Best wishes for you and your family.
Pablo was very communicative and friendly. Our family was in town for a funeral and we appreciated being able to have family visit us. The house is within walking distance to local stores. The house is located right on highway 16 at an intersection. I love motorcycles so loved watching them drive by. They do get loud so if that bothers you, this might not be a match.
I have family in Medina so I go out there every couple of months. The little house is comfortable and my favorite place to stay in Medina. I love that little house.

Adorable cozy cottage! Definitely felt like home. Was sad to leave. I highly recommend it my pup even has the time of his life!!
This rental nestled in the heart of Medina is right next to the Old Timer & downtown Medina. The upgraded home is quiet & restful with a backyard that looks out over a field where Axel deer visit regularly. I had a wonderful visit & enjoyed every minute staying here.
Great property and great host. House was clean and well furnished included a thoughtful array of gifts to enjoy during our stay. I was in the area to ride motorcycles and this is the perfect launching spot for that or any other adventure. Highly recommend, we will likely be back. Thanks!
I love staying at this little house. It’s so comfortable. I enjoy the atmosphere of Medina. The Core for some great coffee and cinnamon rolls and the apple ice cream at The Apple Store are staples of my visits.
I come out to Medina every couple of months. I stay at this house if it’s available. It’s always clean The communication is great. Check in is easy. I love the little town of Medina.
Great location for anyone interested in riding the Twisted Sisters motorcycle route. It was beautiful cruising the area. Appreciated the tips given by Pablo and restaurant recommendations and the snacks provided. We also spent time at the local river spot with our kids swimming in the cool river. We visited the Lost Maples Natural Area for hiking and went to the Devil's Sinkhole tour. It was a great stay and house met all our needs.
The host, Pablo, was very conscientious about making my stay enjoyable. Everything a person might need while on a trip could be found in this cute house. There were snacks liquid refreshments awaiting me, which was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. The house was decorated with an assortment of personable and unique items which made it feel like home. I have to give this place a huge shout out for having hot water! Wonderful! Not all places have this! One of the best parts of this house was its location. It is at the end of the Main Street and within walking distance of a great Ace Hardware, the community library, an amazing log furniture business that well worth visiting, and several restaurants and other small businesses. Very convenient! I have relatives in Medina and I plan to book this VRBO again. Thank you so much, Pablo!

Thank you Genie, for such a wonderful review! We welcome you and your family to our cottage in Medina. Best wishes! Pablo & Rosy
This was a wonderful by little home away from home. A great space literally right at the start of the Three Twisted Sisters Trail. The home has all of the comforts one needs to stay, play, eat, and sleep. Comfortable furnishings to relax in. Plenty of kitchen gear to cook meals or reheat leftovers. Entertainment options for enjoying your downtime after a day of exploring and adventures. Close to town while staying rural with deer and other wildlife walking right up to the back yard. And the hosts were accommodating and responsive, answering our questions promptly and meeting our needs throughout the trip. The welcome “basket” was an awesome touch with snacks and treats and even thoughtful toys for our pet. Thank you so much to Pablo and Rosy for the wonderful home away from home.

Thank you Anthony! We are glad to share our little cottage and happy to know you enjoyed time there in our little town of Medina. Please keep us in mind next time you plan to be in the area. Best wishes to you and your family!
Well, the home was ok but we chose this location because of the space outside. It was in horrible condition with grass over a foot long! Tried to get owners to clean up....they ignored us. Not a very good experience for sure!
Thank you for the use of your lovely cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and backyard was a fun space for the children to play. We even enjoyed watching deer off the back patio in the morning and evening. T
This property was super cute and cozy. Pablo went out of his way to make this one of the best stays we’e ever had with VRBO. The back patio and fire pit were very nice. Lots of little accommodations and amenities that added up to a great time. We will definitely be coming back!
We had a wonderful week long stay. The house was nice & comfi & really close to downtown Medina & my Dad. One of my favorite times was enjoying a morning coffee sitting on the back porch looking out over the backyard watching the deer.
I look forward to returning next year.
We enjoyed our stay in Medina. The house was comfortable, and we relaxed sitting on the back porch watching the deer. Host had wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and sites to make the stay memorable. Great location for exploring hill country!

Why they chose this property
We have traveled the Hill Country region for many years and stumbled upon this property in 2017. Located between Bandera and Kerrville. Medina has been a hidden gem since 1865 and a peaceful throwback to an era akin to Mayberry and Andy Griffin. Maybe HGTV had something to do with our endeavor, or inspired us to do a restoration of this diamond in the rough. It's been an ongoing process with ongoing room for improvement. We are proud and glad to share our cottages with families and friends!
What makes this property unique
Medina is located in the upper Medina River valley, in the geologic region of the Texas Hill Country Southwest region. Set within the hills we have history of early settlers around 1865. The Medina River crosses town and offers crystal clear cool water all year long. The local agriculture is cattle, goat ranching and apple orchards. Friendly folks are the real assets here and there are a few shops in town where you can experience them. The community has 4 churches, 1 volunteer fire department, 1 coffee shop, 1 quilt shop, 1 public library, 1 beauty shop, 1 BBQ restaurant, 1 apple orchard, 2 convenience stores and 1 Elementary/Middle/High school on one campus. You can hear the high school football games in the fall, very nostalgic experience.
