RATES INCLUDES ALL TAXES & IT IS FULLY LICENSED BY THE BTB. PLEASE, READ ALL REVIEWS. Areca is an affordable place located in the heart of the most exclusive South Hopkins Resort Area. Areca faces the road directly across the Jaguar Reef & Almond Beach Resort where most pictures were taken. Areca IS NOT on the beach but within a minute walk. Read our reviews, there are good information from previous guests.

Perfect spot for us! House was a very nice space situated in an ideal location. Walked across the street to the beach and many bars and restaurants. Felt very safe. Everyone was so friendly. Doc and Janette were very helpful and always responded in a timely manner.

Excellent location and had everything we needed. Took a bit of adjusting to Belize from Indianapolis at first, but everyone in Hopkins is super friendly! We'll definitely come back again!

Wonderful experience!
Really enjoyed my stay at Areca House. I was there solo for a vacation; however, it would be fine too for a couple. Great location to the beach (just across the street), as well as close to restaurants (within walking distance). It was great to enjoy Garifuna places of interest (wonderful food, etc.). Doc responded quickly to my initial inquiries, and Janette provided a helpful introduction to the place after I arrived. Would recommend Areca House!
