Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the cabin very clean and well stocked. We’re sorry the location was not what you expected. The cabin is in a mountain residential community, not an isolated property, and there are neighboring homes nearby. We try to represent the property as accurately as possible in our listing and photos. We also want to clarify that the cabin does not have air conditioning, and air conditioning is not listed as an amenity. Mountain temperatures are usually cooler in the evenings, although there can certainly be warmer days during the summer. As for neighborhood noise, we unfortunately cannot control occasional barking dogs, neighbors, or daytime outdoor work in the surrounding area. We do, however, have quiet-hour rules for our own guests and do our best to provide a comfortable and peaceful stay. We appreciate your comments and are sorry the location did not meet the type of secluded mountain experience you were hoping for.

Thank you for your feedback and for mentioning the things you enjoyed about the cabin, especially the porch, open living area, views, location, and our responsiveness. We are very sorry you were unable to find the sheet pans. We do keep disposable baking sheets/trays above the refrigerator, but unfortunately our housekeeper forgot to place them inside the oven before your arrival. Had we known you could not locate them, we would have been happy to tell you exactly where they were. Regarding the outdoor speakers, they were intentionally disconnected due to local noise restrictions and concerns about parties. Quiet hours are strictly enforced after 10:00 PM, and because the speakers are no longer available for guest use, they are not advertised as an amenity on our listing. For clarification, the cabin does have a main entrance through the sliding door. Most guests choose to enter through the garage because that is where the parking is located, making it the most convenient entrance. We also ask guests to remove their shoes inside because the cabin has radiant-heated wood flooring, and dirt, gravel, snow, and moisture from the mountain environment can damage the wood flooring and its joints. The cabin does not have air conditioning, and this is disclosed in the listing. Regarding the noise you mentioned in the main-level bedroom, we took your concern seriously and went to the cabin to inspect the area. We did not find any evidence of an animal inside the wall or anywhere inside the cabin. Since this is a mountain property surrounded by wildlife, we believe the noise may have been coming from an animal outside the cabin. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your experience. We are glad you were able to enjoy the beautiful views and many of the cabin’s features.
