This is a 500 sqft efficiency apt with all the necessities; private entrance, wifi kitchen, parking, private entrance, outdoor lounging areas. We’re a convenient 10 minute drive to the Taconic Parkway and I90 NYS Thurway. A short 15 minute drive to “Olana”, and the eclectic shops, art galleries and restaurants in historic Hudson, and a 20 minute commute to the Berkshires. There you’ll experience the music of Tanglewood, yoga retreats at Kripalu, museums, spas, shopping and fabulous recreation including hikes and great winter skiing; Centrally located, Ghent is the place to be!

We really enjoyed the little apartment in the attic. We would stay again if we go there again. The only thing it should not be listed with WIFI because there is none. We didn't care but some people might. Very friendly owner and just a quiet place in the country to stay.

I stayed at Tighe’s for a couple of nights while taking a class in Catskill. It is close enough to Catskill and Hudson. Cozy place nestled into the woods. The room had everything I needed and it was quiet and peaceful. Easiest check in and host is kind and available if needed. Beautiful property. There is a little dog and cat on the property that might say hi as you’re coming or going (both very sweet and quiet, did not bother me and they are not in the room you’d be staying in). Would recommend.

Wondeful little get away

The listing is as described, a little loft close to hudson. The host was absolutely wonderful, she reached out before accepting our stay to make sure our family would be comfortable with a smaller space and with my husband, baby and I we were comfortable. The property is only 15 minutes away from Hudson, even closer to Chatham if you want to browse Main St. It was nice being centrally located to my family that lives in the area. I would definitely recommend this listing and would stay again myself!

A very quaint and cozy little upstairs apartment that was perfectly located for everything I wanted to do in the area - it wasn't more than 20 minutes to go hiking, visit a farm, and toddle around downtown Hudson. The host was very nice, answered my texts promptly, and introduced me to her pets when I arrived. The only downside was that, despite it being listed in both the amenities and the description, there was no free wifi, or any wifi at all. I'm okay staying someplace without wifi, but I'd prefer to know beforehand so I could print my itinerary or otherwise prepare.

Wonderfully cozy!

Our first time staying here, and we'd love to go back! Lynne was so accommodating and welcoming. The home is cozy, and we made full use of the kitchen too. Close to hikes and to the Hudson River. Highly recommended!
