The house is beautiful and had plenty of room for our group of friends. Having space for parking multiple vehicles was a plus for us too! We loved the extra large table so we could all eat together. The views are wonderful and we had such a great time!
This property was perfect for some of our out of town guests. They didn’t have to drive anywhere the whole weekend, plenty of restaurants & refreshments within walking distance. Great commutation & EASY!!!
We rented the home for a family wedding that was right across the street! We had plenty of room. House was clean and comfortable. Close to town and across the street from the lake. Highly recommend for large families.
Had a great stay in this super spacious home! Was so nice to have multiple beds and plenty of room to hang out comfortably with a big group of people. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen for all our cooking needs, and the generous number of towels that were left out for us. Beautiful view of the marina across the street, and just a short drive into downtown. Walking distance to the Burrow which had amazing cocktails and food, and Buchan's ice cream for dessert. Thanks for hosting us in beautiful Traverse City.
A good location and accomodated our group of 8 well
Host was very responsive. We had an issue with the garage door, and he got it fixed same day. The listing is accurate. It's quite close to the road and unfortunately it was undergoing construction at the time (not host's fault). It's about as close in to TC as you can get for a short term rental to accomodate a lot of people. Reasonable access to TART trail for our cycling expiditions.

Party/Frat house
Good location but significant disruptive construction. Steam rollers shake the house. The house needs upgrades and clean rugs! Kitchen was nice and the rest need work. Very rough and vibe is party/ frat house.

Substantial construction in summer of 2025 will result in better traffic flow and a bike and walking trail that will allow you to get all the way to the Bayshore Resort with crossing a street or a traffic light.
Not sure about frat house comment. Place is laid out to accommodate vacationers.
The checkin process was smooth. Anytime I had any questions, Mike was great with responses, I really appreciated that! The house was very roomy and I loved that each room had two queen beds - very comfortable!! The reason I gave 4 stars for location was because there was construction going on and the traffic backup was a killer! Just wish we had known about it :)The 4 star for accuracy of listing was due to the age of the place. But the cleanliness and the updates to some of the rooms was great. The kitchen was stocked well and loved the backyard!! Thanks for a lovely stay!
Our group of 8 friends was very comfortable. We each had our own bed, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved using the fire pit in the backyard. There were lots of common spaces where we could all spend time together and not feel cramped. The location was great. Only 10 minutes to most of the spots we went to in downtown Traverse City, and 2 minutes from Discovery Pier where we went for an evening sail. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and generous. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
We booked last minute and couldn’t have been happier with the house. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap and there were plenty of towels. The rooms were spacious even with two beds in each. This house would be perfect for a large family gathering. Town is 5 minutes away, at the most, the restaurant across the street is delicious and the view from the big bay window is perfection. My teenage daughters were obsessed with the bathroom speaker light. We can’t wait to come back!!
Charming farmhouse with plenty of space—perfect for group stays! If you love the character of an old farmhouse, this property is a great choice. The kitchen was a standout—spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for cooking for a crowd. The location couldn’t have been better for us, especially with our wedding venue right across the street! The host was thoughtful and welcoming, leaving a sweet gift and clear instructions that made check-in and our stay easy. One thing to note: the plug-in air fresheners were quite strong when we arrived, but easily unplugged. It was a hot weekend, but the A/C kept the upstairs comfortable. Downstairs was a bit warm, and the basement is quite musty—definitely more of a storage space than a usable area.Overall, we were very happy with the size and layout. The rooms are huge, and the house worked perfectly for our group. Great spot for a large family or friend gathering!
We booked this house last minute and everything was so great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. They had so many serving platters which was honestly amazing. Great space outside and a fire pit. The location is also perfect! Quick drive to grocery store, wineries, and downtown. Great restaurant right across the street. I would definitely book this house again.
This home is in a great location with an amazing view! Close to downtown, but far enough out that it is quiet. TART trail is nearby; there is a restaurant across the street; and a gas station, liquor store and grocery store all just a short distance down the street. The kitchen is huge and well appointed for preparing meals, as well as there is a grill out back.
The home itself has been beautifully redone to leave the original charm and add some modern touches. The beds are very comfortable (firm). We enjoyed the large table and poker set, as well as the darts in the basement. There is a very nice fire pit in the backyard with lots of seating, and the night sky is breathtaking.
The only thing I would change is to offer more seating in the living room area. We were a party of 6 and it was just enough for us if we wanted to sit cheek-to-cheek (couch, loveseat and one chair). Considering the house can hold 16, that seems like not enough.
Would absolutely recommend this property!
Beautiful classy home. It is rare a rental home is this well furnished. Most places skimp on towels, toilet tissue, blankets/bedding, etc… but not here. No urgent dashes to the store required. Would recommend this property without reservation!
Great location for winery tours and hanging out in downtown TC!

Place is very old
The place has done some revamping
But it still smells very musty The floors and everything are unlevel. It is still a very old farmhouse. And smells very musty and is hard for the rooms downstairs to cool.
We also have a service dog the online says they except pets and then they gave us nothing but grief about it. They also tried saying something about the basement the only reason we went in the basement was to throw our laundry down there Per their request
We had no reason to go in the basement it was very old and smelly

The basement was smelly because Sherry’s dog pissed all over the place and we had to throw out two rugs. It is a 100 year old farmhouse, but everything in it is brand new.
