Excellent Property

Our family of five stayed at this property for 7 nights. It was just like it was listed and the pictures were accurate. The view from the deck was amazing. We used all the amenities (laundry, grill, stove, oven and dishwasher). All worked great. Justin and Chloe were very attentive and responded quickly to any questions we had. Sib’s is a great local restaurant if you don’t feel like cooking. The location was great, close to Magen’s Bay and really not too far from the ports and town. We would absolutely recommend this place and stay again. Thanks for a great week!

Trip to St Thomas

House is cozy with a beautiful view. The house is well equipped if you wanted to stay in a cook, we did not, we went to The Shack and ate almost every night. The house is 1/2 mile from Hull Bay which a a great local beach. Magens Bay was about a 15 minute drive. If you stay at this house you have to rent a car. I would recommend a Jeep because of the hills and elevation.

Truly relaxing

This was a lovely property! Clean and comfortable, with easy parking. The house was well maintained and we appreciated the towels, beach chairs and boogie boards that were provided for our use. Great north side location just up the hill from Hull Bay. The property managers were very helpful. All in all, we had a wonderful week in St Thomas. We would definitely stay at Villa Bello Norte again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Good trip!

House was clean, and had all that we needed to cook some at home. Great location on the north side. Beautiful view of the islands from the patio. Nearby and highly recommend: Fish Bar, The Shack at Hull Bay, Netjeberg Bay (look up it's Google reviews for directions to get there), Megan's Bay Beach, Moe's Grocery Store (high quality and reasonable higher prices for convenience on North side). Overall a great trip and enjoyed the house.

Hull Bay rental

Overall we had a great experience here. Home had everything we needed and a fabulous deck and view of the ocean. Be sure to visit Hull Bay beach. It's a gem. Also, great food at Sib's which is fairly close by.

Beautiful Views, Great Space, Convenient Location

We had a great week on St.Thomas staying at this Northside villa. We'd drive about 10-15 minutes to Magens Bay for the day, and then hit Hull Bay on the way home for sunset which is less than 5 minutes from the house. Driveway is right along road and easy to get in and out. View from the balcony is dreamy and we enjoyed having breakfast each morning out there. Host was easy to reach and very helpful. Recommended!

Property was good - driving to it could be challenging.

The property was very clean and accommodating. The deck overlooking Hull Bay was the highlight. It had much nature noise, with the doves and coqui frogs at night. Fortunately, we could observe the stars most nights with no clouds. The challenge was driving the roads. Scary at times with potholes and curves like a roller coaster. For that reason, we did not drive at night. We were always home by 4pm. Property manager saved us the first night when we got lost at night. St. Thomas is not an easy place to navigate. But the beaches are so beautiful, its worth it.

Perfect vacation

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. The view is amazing, the location is lovely. We really enjoyed Hull Bay and Magens Bay. There aren't a lot of restaurants in the immediate neighborhood, but there are a few. Also, it looks like they are building a new grocery store close by but isn't open yet (Google Maps thinks Moe's Northside is open, but it isn't). Everything was as advertised. I would absolutely stay here again.

2022 New Year in St Thomas

The property has a great deck with an awesome view. The house is very comfortable for four people, although a couple of additional outside chairs would have been welcomed. Pat, the manager, was awesome, incredibly responsive and caring. The house could use some investment - for example the toilet in the master bathroom and the screen door to the porch have seen better days. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but a few additional items could be added. For example, not having a set of four identical plates made the New Year table artistic and the absence of a second baking sheet forced us to be creative. We had a great time and while we had been in St Thomas before, the house allowed us to discover Hull beach, which is a jewel within walking distance (one way, the return to the house is for the daring). Thank you to Pat and our Hosts!

Large outdoor deck, beautiful views

Pat was a perfect host, answering all my questions and kept us safe when a tropical storm came through! Her home is beautiful equipped with most everything you would need. The only issue we had was when we had to take our trash to the local dumpster, Pat gave me verbal directions, but I was unable to find it, I would’ve appreciated a little more help with that, but everything else was a dream.

Great house in a great place.

Pat walked us through the house to get us settled in and we had an absolutely amazing time. We were just a short drive from everything, but tucked away so we felt like we had some privacy as well. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Gorgeous Views

We booked this place for the views and we were not disappointed. The host Pat was welcoming and communicated well. There were two large king beds, with one bath room attached to a bedroom, and the other bedroom with those incredible views. The beach is technically walking distance, but the hills are ridiculously steep, so walking down to the beach was an easy 15 minute walk, but the trek back up the hill was no easy feat. This is no fault of the homeowners, but the house was in a part of the island inconvenient to taxis, so getting a private driver or renting a car is suggested. I loved it and the views, seriously.

Property Owner is a LAWYER lives below house

Although the house was clean with nice bathrooms the beds are awful. That’s not the worst. The owner who lives directly below refused to let us maintain the air conditioner to our comfort level even when offered more money... she had put a lock box on the until control and insisted to set it at 85 during the day and 80 at night. It gets hot in St Thomas & we were very uncomfortable most of the stay. Property ran out of water while there. We had to go without showering after all day at the beach. We were blamed for 4 people taking showers every day and flushing the potty to often. Lol. We read the many good reviews before booking but the recent lock on the ac was not any previous problem.

Perfect, Tranquil "Workcation" Location

This property is ideal for those who are seeking peace and tranquility in the USVI away from spring breakers, cruise ships, and debauchery. The property is located on the north side of the St Thomas with absolutely spectactular views of Hull Bay from the deck. Kitchen is well-appointed for cooking at home, the WiFi was consistent and the home office was perfect for those "working remotely". Hull Bay feels like a different world compared to the hustle and bustle of Charlotte Amalie and the East End, but is mere minutes away from the legendary Magens Bay Beach.

World-class view

Me and my friend had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The location was a bit hard to find, but Pat drove out to meet us on the road and led us there. What we found was a nice home with all the amenities we needed and one of the most phenomenal views we’ve seen. She took the room with the view and I took the room with the master bathroom, which was an excellent compromise. My friend and I were working remote so she often took her calls outside while I primarily worked from the office which was very convenient. The location offers subtle breezes, so we never had to turn on the A/C. My friend and I drove down to the beach at lunch time, which was truly a 3 minute drive there and back. I cannot stress enough that you need a car!! Taxis will have a hard time finding this place and are very expensive. This is a plus though as given this is in a less densely populated area, the stars at night from the patio were breathtaking. I would be remiss to leave out the roosters. If you had asked me to rate this property after our first night, this would have been a very different summary. My friend and I live in Manhattan near a hospital and have slept in a tent on the plains of the Serengeti with thousands of wildebeest passing by our tent at night. These roosters are worse. They start screeching at 2:00am and are sometimes very frequent. We were not told to close our windows at night so this was quite disturbing to our sleep. However, the next night we closed all doors and windows before going to bed and the noise was manageable and we slept mostly undisturbed. I do hope they invest in relocating these roosters. All in all, this was a fantastic place that we were very sad to leave and would highly recommend!

Perfect for Working Remotely

My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks to work remotely. The set-up for remote work was fantastic. The WiFi was strong and there were extenders. At times, both my husband and I were on Zoom calls at the same time and had no issues. There is even an office with legal books on the shelf for the perfect "I'm not on a tropical island" background. The WiFi went out twice, but only for a few minutes, which is impressive. There is also a generator that quickly kicks on when the power goes out. The house itself is well cared for and has an amazing view, which we enjoyed daily. Hull Bay Beach is a 12min walk down the road, which we walked in the mornings for our pre-work aerobic workouts. The uphill parts are intense. Don't expect to stroll to the beach - take your car. Since the house is so centrally located on the island, it doesn't take long to go anywhere. We always joked that everything took about 20 minutes. Although others talked of road noise, we didn't experience that. The house is on a residential street and there wasn't much traffic. However, the noise problem comes from the local roosters, which sometimes started as early as 2am. Even with earplugs and white noise apps - they definitely woke you up. The house has central air, but the owner who lives on the first floor controls the unit. Even though the temperature was perfect for the 3 weeks we were there and we didn't need to turn on the AC - having the ability to do so at 3am to possibly drown out the rooster noise would have been nice. The current procedure involved contacting the property manager, who would then contact the owner to turn it on. I do want to mention that the house was stocked with many staples that other rentals don't provide. We had toilet paper, paper towels, drinking water, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, k-cups, etc. to get us through 3 weeks. It was truly a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay and want to thank Pat and Karin for their hospitality.
