Idyllic Self Catering Retreat In The Lush Somerset Countryside (near Taunton)
We are nestled in a small hamlet called Daws Green which is on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Trull. Trull is 2.5 miles away from Taunton, the county town of Somerset. We are situated in beautiful countryside and farmland and can boast uninterrupted 360 degree panoramic views. The Chalet Somerset was completed in 2013 and is constructed from Douglas Fir. It is a beautiful one bedroom hi spec fully equipped self catering apartment with separate lounge/kitchen and bathroom.
There is a picturesque floor to ceiling gable end window and also a raised decking area for you to enjoy al fresco dining or simply sit and admire the wonderful views.
Our chickens are also an integral part of our family and we would encourage you to wander down into the orchard and collect freshly laid eggs for your breakfast.

Main Bedroom: King size bed, remote controlled 14" wall fitted TV, Digital Radio and alarm clock, chest of drawers and two bedside cabinets for storage.
Bathroom: Door into bathroom, WC, shower, basin, heated towel radiator, shaving point and lit mirror behind basin.
Decking Area: Table and Chairs and use of BBQ in the orchard!
Parking: We also have free secure off road parking for one car (only access is via electric gates)
Im afraid we don't offer public wifi due to the poor signal strength but 3G does work here if you still want to stay connected to the outside world!
We are a non smoking property inside and outside and as much as we love animals we can't accept pets - Sorry!

The Jones, would love to welcome you to the Chalet Somerset. We relocated down to Daws Green from Surrey back in 2005 and have never looked back since. We are situated in beautiful countryside with 360 degree uninterrupted panoramic views. We have 18 hens, 1 cockerel and a Golden Doodle dog who are all an integral part of our family!

There is a Decking Area for Al Fresco Dining and a Floor to Ceiling Gable End window to indulge yourself in the scenery. We would encourage you to walk down to the orchard in the morning and collect freshly laid eggs from the chickens for your breakfast.
