About this property

Aerobear Den • Hot Tub • Pup Friendly | LOCATION

Summary:

Hello from AeroBear Den! We are a stone throw away from the convention center (Oktoberfest, Wyatt's BBQ and dancing, farmers market), and walking distance to restaurants, mercantile, and a short drive to most places.

Fully fenced backyard(6 ft wood privacy fencing) yard has wood chips.

Stocked kitchen for most your cooking needs.

All bedding provided along with 4 bath towels, 4 spa towels , dish soap, paper towels, and kitchen towels are included.

The Space:

Welcome to your Big Bear getaway! This bright, comfortable 620 sq ft home is the perfect basecamp for a mountain escape, with a fenced backyard hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, and plenty of room to relax after a day on the slopes or the trails.

Sleeps up to 5 across two bedrooms: a queen bed in the primary, plus a bunk room with two full-sized beds, great for families or groups of friends. Durable waterproof flooring runs throughout, so there's no stress about muddy boots or wet swimsuits.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with a full-sized fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, and all the cookware and dishware you need to cook a real meal in. We even leave you starter coffee, sugar, dish soap, and a little something for your pup. Gather around the dining table for 3 or grab a stool at the counter.

Unwind in the living room with a leather couch, wood-burning fireplace (firewood available at our office or nearby stores), and a 60" flatscreen with basic cable and Roku for streaming your favorites.

Step outside to your private, fully fenced backyard, complete with a large hot tub (available 7am to 10pm), propane grill, and plenty of space to let the dogs run. Two dogs are welcome here for a $50 pet fee.

Flat, paved parking fits 2 vehicles.

A few things to know before you book: the home is heated by a wall heater with supplemental space heaters (keep interior doors open to share the warmth), and like most Big Bear homes, there's no AC, just fans for warm days. If you're visiting in winter, we strongly recommend trip insurance. Our cancellation policy is strict, and mountain weather can bring snow, ice, and road closures.

Book now for your next mountain getaway!

Guest Access:

Except for the shed that is locked, you will have access to all of the property.

The Neighborhood:

Distances to nearby attractions:

200 ft – Convention Center

0.2 mi – Big Bear Snow Play

1.3 mi – Lake Access

We had a great time and it was great for the dog. They did say the water pump went out on the spa right before our stay which we were really looking forward to.

Cute little cabin

It was a great first experience using vrbo. This cute cabin was just big enough for myself, husband and toddler. We would love to come back here for the winter to be in the snow!

Cozy and a good location for us.

It was smaller then appeared on the photos. I was disappointed with the pet friendly back yard, stickers and fox tails are not pet friendly and you could see that people did not pick up after their dog prior to us. The slider door could use a screen. Other than that is cozy the sheets were clean and everything was tidy. I think the floors were not as clean, I could see dog fur.

Place was as advertised. Came here to get away from the city for our dog and it worked out great. Only small negatives were no screen on back slider so you had to keep door close to avoid mosquitos, the backyard has alphafa landscape which isn't good for dogs.Overall the place was great and suited our needs.

Great place to stay. The house was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. It was a quiet neighborhood so sitting in the hot tub in the evenings was peaceful and relaxing. We used the bbq every night and had some great meals. It was fun to visit all the attractions and shops. The only thing we had a hard time with was the backyard. It was full of a weed called foxtails so it was not a place for the dog.

Cozy and comfortable

We loved our visit to Big Bear for Oktoberfest! The property was very clean and cozy. The decor was so cute and appreciated the small details/amenities. We didn’t get to use the hot tub because of the specific hours.

Cozy cabin

We love this lil cabin! 2nd time staying here close to town and good restaurants we went to LA paws and broadway cafe both walkable from the cabin. Wyatts Saloon is also literally across the street fun lil country bar we found on our last night. The cabin is adorable and has everything you need. We even used the brand new grill that’s in the backyard and makes steaks one night. This place is doggie friendly so our 2 frenchies were able to come with us and also enjoyed their lil vaycay, she even has doggie treats on the counter. Can’t wait to come back thank u Molly for being an amazing host.
