The hosts are very responsive to any questions or concerns. This is our second time staying at this property so that should say something! We also love the main shower! (Which may be the whole reason my husband booked it in the first place.!)

House was great overall and we enjoyed our stay. Only thing to improve on is the bunks in upstairs room. They were very noisy & top bunk not comfortable but we still liked the house. Great location & easy parking. Thank you!

My family and I stayed for a week and did not want to leave. It is so quiet and beautiful around the area. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and I loved the huge 3-headed shower! The owner was super quick to respond to any concern and she was so nice. This is a beautiful cabin and fantastic for families. The board games were well used also! I recommend booking more than a week…you won’t want to leave.

The house was nice and large and lots of space for all of us.The kitchen had bare bones items available. It you plan to use the hot tub or pool, there are no pool towels so make sure to pack yours. The washer and dryer worked fine, but there was limited detergent and such, so again bring your own. You will know you are almost to the house when you see the Air Force plane on the right side.It was very peaceful and a great base camp for us.Lots of parking for several cars.Owners were very easy to contact.

Thank you for your review. I try to stock the kitchen for everything someone would need for their stay. I have recently started stocking a few spices, however, it is hard to decide on what will be used and what would go bad. As for the pool towels, I wanted to leave towels for the hot tub and pool, but the cleaners have multiple cabins that they clean and the extra towels could possibly not be returned to my cabin, so it is easier for each guest to bring their own towels for that purpose. I am glad that you had a good vacation and do hope you will return.

About the host

Hosted by Gary & Lisa Whiting

Host profile image
My husband and I are from a small town in West Virginia. We love to travel around, taking the most scenic routes, just finding those places that most never slow down to see. We enjoy being able to offer a comfortable home to others while they are traveling as well.

Why they chose this property

Eagle Springs Resort is a nice area to stay in, it has plenty of roads to walk, if you are interested in walking or jogging. There is a shared pool in the resort that operates from 9am to 10pm when it is open in the spring. There is a picnic shelter as well.

What makes this property unique

I think we are unique in the way of having a nice flat area around our cabin to be able to play games and such, we have a nice parking area that is flat as well and allows for easy loading and unloading of your belongings.
