We drove from Mississippi and Dallas to attend a family wedding. Both of us reviewed this listing and the photos, but somehow we apparently missed the fact that this "charming cottage" is actually a Tiny House with less than 120sf living space. The coffee pot was dirty, and the back of the toilet was filthy. No one had put sheets on the loft bed. We had to call the owner for toilet paper. The toilet reeked, and the bathroom is literally the size of an airplane bathroom plus a tiny shower. The single 12" mirror in the bathroom was too small and high for my 5'2" girlfriend to see her reflection. No bedroom door means no privacy. Even my petite girlfriend had to step sideways to navigate the narrow passageway between the kitchen and the bedroom, which was so cramped she had to dress in the kitchen. Both nights we showered at a relative's hotel room. This morning there was no water pressure at the Tiny House. This lodging was also overpriced. Other family members paid a lesser nightly rate for a real cottage at the Holiday Inn resort in Montgomery, where they didn't have drive to through a neighborhood of mobile homes. The only positives were the beds were comfortable, the AC kept us cool, the neighborhood was quiet, and we did enjoy the lake view. Otherwise, never again.

Well I’m sorry you didn’t like to stay at the house but let me tell you something my advertisement edit does show that it is a tiny home now nowhere on my house profile does it say cottage and you’re mistaken 120 ft.² you need to re-calculate it it basically is 285 to 280 ft.² my wife is 53 and she has no problem looking at the mirror so as far as your statement saying it is a college you’re definitely wrong

Filthy and stinky

I paid $45 for a damn cleaning fee... why? Looks like NO ONE has EVER cleaned it, they made us clean everything anyways , from taking our trash to the end of the road and sweeping the floors to removing all of the bedding to put into the middle of the floor Tons of dust on everything. And the Bathroom! Yuck! It’s a damn RV toilet and the tank needed to be cleaned, it’s a tiny house... it needs a regular toilet hooked up to the sewer. So, the smell of it just took over the whole space! The shower needed cleaning, we had to go to a damn truck stop to bathe! The air conditioner wouldn’t even cool this tiny space. It was HOT. Tv wouldn’t work, we pretty much should have just stayed in a tent, it would have been the same comfort level. We were miserable

The air condition is working fine you might have accidentally hit a button to make it not work right. If you noticed the restroom will not accommodate a regular toilet that is why it is called a Tiny Home. This place was cleaned period! FYI The place did not smell like sewer i am on the phone just left an hour ago.

fun little tiny house right on the water

This tiny house seems brand new, and everything inside it seems new. It's comfortable with a great view over Lake Conroe. Fast and efficient communication with owner; we recommend staying here!
