Most suitable for up to 2 couples or a family. This comfortable apartment is nestled at the heart of the large snowy bowl, Flaine. The view from the apartment is magnificent, and there is a south facing balcony from which to enjoy it.

The apartment is conveniently located on the same level as the entrance of the Sirius building in Flaine Forêt, it is walking distance from a nursery slope, which links into Flaine and the wider Grand Massif. Next door is a small shopping area, including a pub/restaurant, supermarket, bakery, deli, and 2 snowsport rental shops. As well as a pedestrian lift to Flaine Forum.

The apartment has a separate bedroom with an IKEA day bed which pulls out to make a comfortable double bed. There are also underbed drawers and a double wardrobe. Between the bedroom and the living area there are bunk beds in a wide hallway/alcove with underbed drawers. The studio style living space has a small but well equipped kitchen area (includes dishwasher), extendable dining table and chairs, a spacious sofa, and TV (with satellite). The bathroom has a bath and sink (with built in cupboard) and there is a separate WC. There is also a small ski locker by the entrance to the building.

Linen and towels are an additional cost.

Flaine is situated between Geneva and Chamonix Mont-Blanc, and has excellent transport links with Geneva Airport. Alternatively, Flaine is a days drive or train ride from the UK.

Amazing holiday in Flaine

Amazing apartment, with great views over the surrounding valley and slopes. Located very close to the slopes, shops, restaurants which was perfect. Overall just the perfect place to stay for a couple.

Fantastic apartment. Location is right next to the venicular that comes from the lower main part of the resort. There is a pizzareia, Spar, coffee shop, pastry shop and restaurant in the same block as the venicular so super handy. Can walk (without venicular) in about 10-15 mins to ski area on same level. British host super helpful - responded immediately to queries and did her upmost to answer any questions we had. Apartment itself is small but perfectly formed and more than suitable for 4 guests. Double pull out bed in the one room with wardrobes, bunks in the corridor and a sofa, dining table, tv and amazingly equipped kitchen area in the living space. The balcony has an amazing view. Key collection (along with bedding and towels if required) are from the launderette at the lower section of the resort. Return to same place. We were lucky and no one was checking in the day we were leaving so they allowed us flexibility with when we left which was very kind but I appreciate it was only as no one was arriving the same day. All in all a lovely place to stay and we would return! Thank you to the hosts for being so helpful!

Lovely cosy Apartment with a great view

Small but cosy apartment within easy reach of the slopes and local amenities. I stayed on my own but it'd be perfect for families too and has everything you need for a ski holiday at a more than reasonable price. Heather (the host) responds very quickly to messages and was very helpful. Highly recommended.

Half Term Ski Break

From beginning to end the rental process was easy and Heather was very quick to respond to any queries we had. The location of the property is ideal, close to the slopes, shops, bus etc. First time visiting Flaine and won't be the last, lovely resort!

Nice flat in Sirius

Clean appartment very close to the Flaine Forum shuttle lift and a small shopping center. The ski bus stopps 100m outside the house. 400m walking to the skilifts. Very nice host, easy to get in contact with.Altogether goid value for your money.

Great location and value

Small but well laid out apartment in Flaine Forêt. Great location next door to the local facilities which includes a small Spar supermarket and a nice bakery. There is also an escalator down to the main Flaine resort in the same building. Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for basic self catering and a nice selection of games, tv etc as well as storage for skis. The host Heather was incredibly helpful and easy to deal with. Note linen and towels have to be arranged separately which was straightforward - common with many French properties. Extremely good value for a location next to the best ski slopes.

Cosy with a lovely view

We found this apartment has everything you need for a comfortable ski holiday. The view from the balcony is beautiful - tree lined mountain sides and slopes. The shops and ski hire were very close. Walking to the slopes is a bit further but easily doable - we chose to walk over the ski bus. Heather, the apartment owner, is very happy to help and quick to respond if you need any advice. We had a great stay here and are looking at booking this apartment again!

Nice apartment, with a great view in a great location

We (2 adults and an 8 year old) stayed here for 5 nights and it was exactly what we needed. The apartment had everything we needed, and the wifi was very good. Size wise it was great for us but I think anymore than 4 and it would start to feel cramped. I think its fair to say the apartment is starting to look a bit tired but that didn't impact our stay. The view is great, especially when its snowing :-) Location is perfect. 2 mins to spar, bakery, take away pizza, bar and ski hire shop (SPORT2000 - great kit at very reasonable price and let us leave our bags there on the last day) and 5 min walk to the lifts.

Nice flat, but...

On the overall the appartement is well equipped, it has a separated room and a sliding door which allows you to have 3 separated areas which is a positive point, several items such as a coffee machine and a colander would have been appreciated. We could also note that the extractor hood is missing, only 4 hooks are remaining on the hanger, a light should be added at the dining table which is really dark, the light in the bathroom switches off after a couple of minutes. All these items are to be considered as « must have » rather than « nice to have ». The flat is located at about 100m from a small mall with small grocery store and a couple of shops, wider choices are available at the main station (Flaine Forum), at 15min walk. The ski lifts are located at about 10-15 min walk or you can take the bus. The ski resort is very nice, each skier can find slops of his/her own level. Ski lifts are all very well maintained. The station Flaine itself on the average in terms if facilities and activities but is definitely not the prettiest one, all buildings are big concrete blocks. But ok, this is may not the most important criterion for the selection of a station.

Dear Jonathan, Really sorry your stay was not entirely positive. I will endeavour to make it clearer to guests that they have access to an agent, Property Services, who may have been able to rectify some of your concerns during your stay. With regard to a couple of your points, there is a light under the units in the kitchen area (not sure if you found this), as well as a colander (under sink - foldable). With regard to the coat hooks in the hall. I have posted replacements to my agent who is no doubt waiting for an opportunity when the appartment is unoccupied to fit them. Apologies, this wasn’t fitted in time for your benefit. With regards to the bathroom light, many thanks for your feedback. I will have an electrician look at it immediately. Flaine is a somewhat unique (Marcel Breuer-designed) modernist resort including several art installations (by Picasso, Victor Vasarely, Jean Dubuffet and Carl Nesjar). I understand your perspective, but have found the more I have learned about the environmental and experimental concept the more I have come to appreciate it. Belle vue en effet mais prestations très insuffisantes.

La belle vue promise était au rendez-vous mais l'appartement mérite une rénovation complète (comme beaucoup de résidences à Flaine par ailleurs...). La conciergerie n'est pas au niveau, ménage non fait à l'arrivée et attitude désagréable lors du départ.

Super apartment and ideal location

We enjoyed our stay at Siruis very much. We are a family of 6 adults and the apartment was fine for us. The sliding door across lounge makes 3 separate areas for sleeping. Back bedroom bed is a good size with large bed. Apartment is very handy to the slopes and close to Spar, bars and ski-hire. We walked to the slopes but the frequent navette stops outside if wished. After skiing get off navette at first stop in carpark and walk down path to avoid doing full circuit of resort. Key pick up and return was easy and we parked in car park above the apartment. We drove and stored our clothes in plastic underbed boxes under the bunk and above large wardrobe. Lots of hooks in hall for hanging ski kit. Very hot water. Lovely view. Hope to stay again.

The view from the south facing balcony is outstanding. There are no stairs to navigate as the entrance is on the same floor as the apartment. The building is conveniently located in Flaine Forêt, close to shops and restaurants, and walking distance from the slopes at this level of the resort. Here you will find super runs for children and beginners, on slope ski lockers, ski lesson meeting points and the Grande Van ski lift, linking the resort of Flaine with the wider ski area.
