This beautifully renovated and family friendly 3 bedroom/3.5 bath vacation rental is situated in the center of Tamarindo. It has everything you'll need to feel at home in a comfortable, quiet and relaxed environment, just a short walk to the beach and grocery stores, shopping, and all restaurants. The communal pool is right out the front door and there are ample lounge chairs to sunbathe or read in the shade. This townhome has a fully equipped and renovated kitchen with refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, large pantry for storage, and has built in dining. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil you need to cook at home. There are 3 separate bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, to sleep 6 total. The two second level bedrooms have one queen in one room, and two twins in the other bedroom that can also be set up as a king if needed. The third floor master bedroom is large spacious and also has a king bed. All linens and towels are of the highest quality and are brand new this year. The condo is ideal for 3 couples or a family.

Villa Verde I #5 is right down the street from wonderful Argentine grill and also has a small supermarket just 3 blocks down the road. There are many other bars and restaurants in Tamarindo, with over 40 different restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. This Tamarindo vacation rental is the perfect space for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, great for couples and larger families. The house is close enough to the beach that you do not need a vehicle. Renting bicycles, golf cart, or dune buggy is a fun activity and is a great way to ride around town into Tamarindo center and explore the area. Near the condo are great trails to walk around and find monkeys, birds, iguanas and more for nature lovers. The property manager lives here full time just down the road and can help make arrangements for transportation, tours, car rentals, etc. and speaks fluent English and Spanish.

The host was very accommodating for all of our needs. It's a very short walk down the road to the beach and restaurants. You really don't need a car. Great place for a family. Wish the pool was a bit bigger. Costa Rica is pure paradise!!

Stayed for 4 nights in Nov 2025, townhome is exactly as described and is perfect for a family. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need to do your own cooking, a bonus given the high prices in restaurants. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything including beach, restaurants, downtown area etc. The pool area was a real treat, clean, private, and right outside the door. The areas is very secure and we felt no issues in the unit or the area. My only negative was parking. The listing says "on site" parking for your rental car but that is not entirely accurate. You have to park on the street and whether you can park close would depend on the time of year you visit. We got something close but high season may be a bit different.All in all, I highly recommend this townhome

Great location/ good deal

My family of six (kids ages 14-22) stayed here while in tamarindo. It was a short walk to a great spot on the beach and good restaurants. We would stay here again.

The listing was exactly as expected if not better!! This location is absolutely acperfect walk to the beach. The pool was beautiful, the host was very helpful and responded to questions right away. We would stay here again without question. The gated community was private and quiet. So so so lovely!! W head the best time.

Great condo with amazing location!

Fantastic accommodation. Exactly as pictured. Location is amazing. Really close walk to the best part of the beach. Restaurants and shops also close by. Good for 4 people but would be tight for 6 in the living room / kitchen area Loved the beach chairs, abundant towels and all the essentials you need (toilet paper, dish soap, paper towel etc). We made good use of the blender for home made smoothies with all the great fresh fruit! Public areas of the condo were well maintained and the pool was very clean. Jennifer was very responsive and arranged for airport transportation which was nice. I would definitely recommend staying in this condo!

Great location, spacious townhouse

This unit is one of about 16 situated around a courtyard. It’s super close to the beach and everything in town. The place is nice, but not very updated. It’s convenient to have washer/dryer in the unit. We noticed ants in the upper bedrooms. This may have had something to do with the pools construction, but our friends live in the same condo and were not having an ant problem. Communication with the manager was slower than expected.

Quiet and close to the beach

This spot was perfect for our family. Plenty of room, close to town and the beach and also quiet. We felt secure with the locking gates, friendly groundskeepers, and evening security guards posted. The condo had everything we needed as advertised. We suffered on the top floor the first few nights because the AC wasn’t cool enough but when I reached out the property manager fixed it…I had assumed the small unit just couldn’t keep up, that was not the case and they got it working. The only other thing I didn’t mention to her was that the kitchen had hot water but the showers all had lukewarm to cool water and we couldn’t get hot water. I didn’t ding the place because I didn’t mention it during the stay…we just took very cool showers every day. I would stay here again and recommend it for other families.

Thank you Kimberly for your review. We were happy to host you! The trick to the 2nd floor showers is that the hot water is on the right side, cold on the left. Whoever built the condos installed them that way on that floor. The top floor shower was renovated so has the hot on the left, cold to the right. We are sorry that you took temperate showers. Luckily it is so very hot here! Thanks for recommending us!

Great location, full amenities, gorgeous pool, beautiful place!

I booked this place after I cancelled another property and so glad I did! It is walking distance to the beach, restaurants, 3 grocery stores, and right near the downtown area of Tamarindo. The gorgeous pool is about 10 steps away and perfect for sunbathing, meeting neighbors and taking a morning or evening dip in the pool. There is a gate outside the units with a guard all day and night it appeared so it felt very safe. Jennifer was great in responding to any questions I had and was easy to get a hold of. There is a full kitchen, 4 bathrooms with 3 showers and 3 bedrooms, great for groups. The upstairs master bedroom is huge!! That bathroom is super nice with two sinks and a big shower. There are a lot of stairs to get to the top, but it's worth it. The two balcony's facing the pool on the second and third floors were super nice and good to get fresh air. I would highly recommend this place and had a great experience!

nice place to stay in Tamarindo

The property was nice and was accurate in the description. It was easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. There were 3 bedrooms with private baths in each bedroom. The bathrooms were cleaned well but the windows in the bathrooms and the laundry room looked like they had not been washed or opened since the place was built. However, the rest of the apartment was clean and tidy. Check in did not go well. We stayed in another VRBO for the week before our checkin at this place. We had to check out by 10:00 am from that place and could not check into this property until 3:00. I asked the manager if we could leave our luggage inside and we could go to lunch or to town. She said we could not and suggested that we store our luggage in our vehicle. We are an 80 year old couple and did not even have any vehicle. We certainly could not pull our bags on the streets in Tamarindo because of the very poor condition of many streets and absence of sidewalks. We used a taxi to get from one rental to the next. We asked the cleaners if we could put our luggage on the deck by the door and we sat at the pool to watch our luggage. That seems to have upset either the cleaners or the manager of the property. We didn't mean to cause trouble but I guess we did. Also if you stay there be sure to bring your own bar soap and shampoo or you will be looking for it at the stores. It was a bit hard to find as many stores were closed the day of our check in.

Wonderful place in great location!

This place looks even better in real life. The huge master suite on the top floor is great and we loved the balcony! It's nicely appointed with terrific space for all and feels private because of perfectly located trees in the middle of the property. Jennifer was a great host and extremely responsive to questions. Thanks! Location is perfect with short walk to the beach, but without the noise and traffic of main drag.
