Beautiful Updated Cabins located just a couple miles (less than a 5 minute drive!) from Scott’s Creek Marina at Cave Run Lake and the Daniel Boone National Forest. New furniture, linens and decor! Located across from the Fish Hatchery! This cabin features 2 King Beds and a futon on the first floor. Upstairs are two additional Queen Beds, plus two futons that each sleep 1. Three full bathrooms! Two full kitchens! Two living room areas! Perfect for a family getaway, retreat, hunting/fishing trip and more! Also on the property are Four 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom cabins available! Our properties are perfect for intimate weekend getaways or large groups! Kitchens include two full refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and sinks. Washer/dryer included as well. Charcoal grill, picnic tables and fire pit with fire wood included also available for use!

This place is amazing! Beautiful location, nice spacious cabin with everything needed! We went for a work conference in Morehead and felt like we were on vacation!

Perfect For A Lake Vacation

The property was clean, the beds were comfortable and there were alot of amenities. My family spent the whole weekend enjoying the large covered porch. There are also cabins adjacent that you can rent if you have a larger group. We really enjoyed it and plan to rent again.

Loved the covered patio

Everyone in our group enjoyed our stay - we were able to work around the lack of privacy as we had 4 families sharing the space with only 1 family in a totally private en-suite bedroom - you could use the downstairs bedroom as private even tho it had 2 beds. We spent most of our time on the covered patio which we loved. We used the downstairs kitchen for all of our meal prep (ate all our meals outside on patio) which is pretty dark however know this is being addressed. Big assortment of kitchen pots, pans and utensils. Given we can flex with bedroom/bath situation as we were all family , we would book again. Beautiful setting, cabin and grounds.

Great cabin

Beautiful cabin slept 8 of us comfortably. So clean and comfortable beds. Nice stove, we cooked our meals with their well stocked utensils and pans. Roomy fridge. Nice porch to sit on with a table and chairs. Such a beautiful place, I believe this has been our third year for a family get together. Nice communication with owners.

Great trip!

House was in a great location and the amenities were everything you need. Our family had plenty of space and the location is within a couple miles of a ramp and marina. Hosts were clear in all communication. Would recommend.

Eastern Kentucky-2025

I would have liked to give this a five star. It was a good fit for my family. Close enough for some good adventures like Cave Run Lake, Lexington, Cascade Cave, fishing. But, the lighting in the cabin is mediocre at best. Yes they will be fixing this I am told.The mattress for the king size bed upstairs really needs to be replaced. It likes to slide you right into the middle of the bed. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Long weekend of fishing

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the cabin. Had plenty of room for our smaller group. Host did great job of providing the items required for the stay as well as a goodie basket with additional information of surrounding area. Owner very responsive for any questions.

Perfect Lake House!

This lake house was simply perfect! Extremely clean and great location. The house is also very well stocked, more so than any other house I've stayed in (laundry supplies, shampoo, firewood, dish soap, etc.). They even provided a little care package of snacks and drinks! Overall, just an extremely positive experience.

Great for a quick getaway

We stayed in this cabin for a short weekend get away and to visit some family in Kentucky. Owners sent check in instructions well before arrival and we had no issues. Cabin was very clean and exceeded expectations. My only bit of caution is the bedding layouts - rooms are either shared or not private. (If that is important to you). Otherwise everything was great and no complaints. The snack baskets were great upon arrival after a long car ride, and they did provide some ammenities too which were nice. Thank you for letting us stay!

Great weekend getaway

This cabin is beautiful and had all the amenities we needed! Plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, coffee pods and Folgers ground coffee, trash bags, hand soap, Dawn, extra blankets, and every cooking utensil you could think of! Air Conditioning worked great and all the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were big and good water pressure. The floors did make a lot of noise from the top floor but the extra fans they had really helped. I would recommend bringing a sharp knife. They had PLENTY of knifes but never could find a sharp one, we love to cook! The Dollar General is literally 3 minutes away and had a lot of variety if you forget something. Great location to the lake and we will definitely be back! Love this cabin and highly recommend it. The property manager went above and beyond to make our stay perfect!

Family reunion

The main cabin is lovely. We were lucky with the weather. There was no place for us (10) to be together inside really. The layout is very odd. Super large bedroom in the middle of the cabin on the main floor (king plus queen). En-suite bath, plus another full bath outside the bedroom near the kitchen. Make sure you put the sound sleepers on the main floor as people walking around in the bedrooms and second kitchen at night is very noisy. The futons needed a towel stuffed along the middle seam as a metal bar could be felt there. They are suitable for one person (maybe two very small children). The kitchens are well equipped as are the bathrooms. The WiFi is great. We spent a lot of time around the fire pit or on the covered patio.

beautiful cabin but not the most functional

The cabin itself was beautiful but there were a few quirks that weren't quite what I expected. Our group was only about 6 people and I think we would have felt crammed if the group had been any larger. The listing says it sleeps 12 but I don't think this cabin could comfortably sleep 12 adults. There were two full kitchens advertised but only one fridge and one oven were actually working (and they were on separate floors). The ice machine also did not work so we had to run out to buy ice. The knob to the silverware drawer kept falling off so we left the drawer propped open. The last thing I noticed was that there were a LOT of dead flies and ladybugs, particularly in the stairwell that connects to the back porch. We would consider coming back if some of these issues were addressed. Thanks

Family Reunion

Our family reunion was so much fun. We had the main cabin and it was so cozy. We sat on the porch for hours just visiting. Love to sit around the fire pit at night and tell our stories. Great Barbecue spot down the road for take out ribs and sides. A MUST stay when your in the area!!
