The host was very attentive by text to make sure everything was goid when we arrived. The house was adorable and very cozy and comfortable. I enjoyed the view if the river and the sound of it. The deck and house were clean and we had everything we needed to cook a meal. Plenty of clean towels and sheets were clean. The detached bedrooms are decorated so nicely. We enjoyed our stay very much, it was my husband and I and two 17 yr. Old girls and even they loved it! Thankyou so much, will recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Perfect summer getaway
Our family stayed here for a family reunion nearby. This property is so special… it had plenty of room for my family of 7, the view and river access was beyond my expectations and the house had absolutely everything we could have wanted or needed! I appreciate the excellent service, check in and check-out was easy. Highly recommend this and we will return!
We loved this spot so much! Such an awesome cabin feel, unique, secluded, and in beautiful nature. You will not regret staying here!

Wonderful stay!
The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The back deck has more than enough seating. We loved the fire pit and used the grill and outdoor cooking area both days. The river view was the cherry on top. Great weekend getaway.
Really better than expected. The property is not missing a thing. The best location, clean, quiet, and has everything needed for a wonderful experience.

Location and Charm
This was our second stay in this pair of cabins. It is perfect for our group of 12. We love going down to the river to fish and play volleyball. BBQ was not working was our only complaint.

Carrie, it was our pleasure hosting you and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We do apologize that the BBQ wasn't working. Unfortunately, the gas line to the main propane tank is out of order and we are awaiting a repair from the local propane servicer. Until then the BBQ is out of order and has been removed from amenities. We hope you'll stay with us again.
There was so much available in and around this home, the time went by so quickly that we didn't want to leave even when the time came to do so. There's a fully stocked kitchen, lots of games, Smart TVs, all inside. Then outside, there's bikes, a hiking path, or walk down to the river to swim or fish. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back...and stay longer next time.

Overall…ok
The place had too many personal items cluttering the space, which made it feel less welcoming. There were also belongings left behind by previous guests, adding to the disorganized feel. One major issue was the shower, where the hot water ran out after just two minutes. Additionally, several small details, like unprepared or neglected amenities, showed a lack of proper preparation for guests. Overall, the stay could have been much better with more attention to some important details.

Hello Abel, thank you for sharing your experience with us; we appreciate your honest feedback. I’m sorry to hear that personal items left by previous guests and the hot water running out quickly affected your stay. I understand how these things can make a difference in your comfort, and I wish you communicated all the problems while you were staying at our place so we could've sent our local team to address them and make things more comfortable for you. We’d love the opportunity to host you again and provide a much better experience in the future.
We were looking for a winter getaway to escape the stress and congestion of Southern California and Hawkins Bar delivered in a big way. We loved the cozy main room and enjoyed the river view even with in the rain. River access was easy by car and foot and we took advantage of it. The outdoor gas grill was down for the season (understandable) and there was some confusion about when the trash was picked up (the management app said one thing and the information in the house another) but otherwise the description is accurate including the amazing river view and multiple levels of decks. We absolutely would return for another visit and really enjoyed our winter retreat.

All was nice .
the house was filled with old personal memorabilia which was strange. Deck was not cleaned, card table unusable, filthy has cushions thrown on top.
Need tv instructions… tv did not play any programming..
front gate needs to greased.
For most of the group it felt like summer camp in the winter. The double refrigerators, path to the river and warm bedding was a plus. We all look forward to coming back.. next time in warm weather. lol Thank you for sharing this sweet home with us.
I stayed on this property with my family of six and another family of four. It was nice having the two separate houses.. There were plenty of beds, rooms, and thick mats for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen in the main house is stocked with all different types of cookware and bakeware. Access to the river was wonderful. We spent an entire day swimming in the river. We made sandwiches and brought down drinks and snacks. There isn't any shade so a canopy or cover of some kinda is necessary in the summer months. The house has WiFi. There is no cellphone reception in the area and the surrounding areas that are 15-20 minutes away. Both families enjoyed our stay very much!
