House is beautiful and clean . We had 7 people in our group and had enough room for all. We did towel laundry daily which was fine. The beach wasn’t far and the community pool was 100 steps away . Beach items should be replaced as they were old and stuffed into a deck box. I would definitely recommend this house!

Beautiful vacation home

The house is beautiful and relaxing. It was quiet inside when we wanted to escape the busyness of the beach. It was also close to the beach, restaurants and stores as well as the beautiful nature area we could walk in. We also appreciated that it had two bikes and chairs and toys for the beach.

Brand New Property with a Great Location to the Beach!

This brand new property was perfect for our two small families to stay within a short walking distance to the beach and only steps away from the pool! The accommodations were fantastic with all of the general cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc already there for ease of stay. We would definitely book this house again!

Fantastic property. Basically brand new.

Renting was easy and information required was great. Only issue we had was connection to wifi, but that was very minor.

Lovely House

My husband and a family friend stayed here, to be close to the bike and walking trails. It was perfect… House was beautiful and well equipped. Furniture was in great shape. Neighborhood is so nice, and they could ride ride into the park each day. Great location close to restaurants. We love this neighborhood. It close to the beach if you want that also… Great place….

Perfection

The house was literally perfect for our needs (two adults and three children ages 6-9). It was new, clean, well decorated, stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, etc. We loved it.

Great neighborhood, house needs some attention

We had multiple issues with starfish cottage. Most troublesome were ants in the upstairs bathroom and bunk bedroom as well as ants in the downstairs master bedroom. Spoke with maintenance several times, little was done to remedy the situation. The upstairs bathroom is also missing a light fixture that could not be replaced During our stay. Disappointed with our experience

You can hear the ocean from the porch

We enjoyed our stay at the starfish cottage. We visit this neighborhood often, so we know that we love the convenience of being so close to the beach. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. We found everything we needed to cook and clean. I enjoyed sitting on the porch, reading and hearing the ocean in the distance. My family's favorite activity, besides going to the beach, is the endless trails we can ride on our bikes in the Gulf State Park. Every morning we rode to The Southern Grind and Planet Smoothie!

Excellent for our family

Starfish Cottage is a fantastic 3 bedroom, located next to the Gulf States Park (1 minute walk/bike ride to access) and Orange Beach (5 minute walk across the street to your own beach access). House is better equipped than most rentals, layout is great especially the kitchen. We loved staying there and will definitely try to book this house again in the future!

Vacation

Great place to stay, but for the money spent on the home. I should have never found a used condom under the guest bed.
Response from VrboOwner on 26 Jun 2020
Thank you for your feedback! At Luxury Coastal Vacations, we strive to provide our guests with the best experience. The Starfish Cottage house is managed by a senior Inspector that provides a thorough walkthrough before each guest arrives. This walkthrough is documented through pictures that are loaded within a consolidated database for review by managers. A used contraceptive was not left under the bed before the guest's arrival. This house was inspected to ensure the highest quality of cleaning was performed and was signed off on by the senior housekeeper and management. We do hope to host you again in the future.
