Secluded Cabin, Easy Access, Covered Parking, Small Creek, Whole-Home Backup PWR

This comfortable 3 BR, 2 full Bathrooms mountain cabin is ideal for your family getaway or a special retreat with friends. Master bedroom with king bed. Queen beds in other two bedrooms. Enjoy the mountains on a huge porch that wraps around half the house with tables, swings, and rockers to accommodate friends and family. This area is gated so we can also accommodate your pet! The kitchen is all new, large and modern with a farm house table that seats eight. More dining areas on the porch.

This cabin is nestled in a private mountain cove, but very close to Highway 28 with easy access for motorcycles or trailers We have a large parking area and circle driveway around rear of house for ease of unloading and loading. Covered parking in paved barn for trailers, motorcycles or your personal vehicle. Left side of the barn has fans and lights over the picnic tables.

The house has Whole Home Backup Power and home phone service with WIFI! Amenities include: Full laundry room, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, TV, and gas heat, and wood stove fireplace.

If you are seeking biking, boating, fishing, scenic driving, nature, motorcycling, whitewater rafting, zip lines or just a quiet, restful vacation, this is the place for you. Key lock box (to gain entry to the home) is located on the front deck or by the back door at the rear of house. Just 10 minutes to Fontana Lake, 20 minutes from "Tail of the Dragon", 20 minutes from whitewater and zip lines. Short drive to Cherokee and Bryson City for Casino, rail, and other attractions. Proximity allows for short day trips to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountain National Park! Cherohala Skyway 25 minutes from Cabin, Nantahala Gorge, Maggie Valley and much more to see. Book early to ensure a great time in our Smoky Mountains.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put dirty dishes, pots, and or utensils in the Dishwasher and run it upon departure. Tabs are under the sink. Stove, oven and kitchen appliances are clean. Refrigerator is clean and free of food.
Windows and doors are closed and locked. All lights are turned off to conserve energy. Keys left on the kitchen island.
All trash is bagged taken to county dumpster located on the left side of Hwy 28 towards Stecoah. Hours of the dump are 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Sundays.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 09:00 AM daily. Due to proximity of neighbors, keep outside noise moderated. Be good neighbors.

A very nice peaceful setting to enjoy the mountains. Location is good for all local attractions with great covered parking. Although we did not need it, it a has a good safety feature of the power backup system! The local gravel road access is a little rough in places, but caused no real problems with our motorcycles

Perfect spot for a motorcycling vacation

House was great, loved it's rustic nature. Very well appointed, had everything we needed. Very much appreciated the large parking area and barn for keeping the truck/trailer/bikes out of the weather. Would definitely stay there again. We could spend a month in the area riding all of the awesome roads and never ride the same one twice.

The perfect peaceful (motorcycle) getaway

The property is clean, spacious and located near enough to the twisty roads and small towns to provide what you need to relax and enjoy. For motorcycles, the driveway is gravel, but they’re large pieces so bikes don’t sink but just move across—no issues. We brought a BMW K1600B bagger and a KTM 1290 Adventure S and it wasn’t a problem.

Lovely Hideaway!

We had a wonderful long weekend here with our 2 vizslas! Such an easy check in & check out process & a BEAUTIFUL property. We really enjoyed drinking coffee on the wrap around porch & just listening to the silence around us. Easy access to the Dragon & the Cherohala Skyway was a big plus to thoroughly enjoy the twisty mountain roads in our zippy mod-ed GTI! The home itself was perfect- definitely the best kitchen we’ve utilized at many VRBOs over the years. It rained a little during our stay, but there was plenty to do. We reignited a joy in doing jigsaw puzzles that were provided here. We would love to come back and stay again in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

The cabin and property were fantastic. We trailered our motorcycles up there from Florida and the property was excellent for loadind, unloading and riding, and thats what we were looking for !!!!! Thank you to our hosts.

The perfect motorcycle base camp

This is the third time I’ve stayed here for motorcycle trips with friends/family. It’s quiet, clean and has everything you need for a vacation, plus it’s convenient for some of the best riding roads.

Home away from home

We love coming to this cabin and try to return every spring and fall. It's easily accessible, well appointed, and has great outdoor spaces. The owners are great to work with and have always been great with communication. Looking forward to coming back!

This cabin has it all. It has beautiful views, a cozy charming atmosphere, super clean and the most well equipped cabin we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Serenity in the Mountains

The check in process is easy to do. Michael is a perfect host. Communication is excellent. Cabin was clean and had all amenities you need. Love the decor of the property and the barn is awesome for family fun. Walking around the property is pleasant and easy to get around. Shopping in Bryson City is not far away and is an awesome small town. It is a nice scenic drive to get there. Hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains was fun and through Bryson City. We had our 16 year old 7# Chihuahua we brought on the trip that had plenty of room to roam around. I would recommend anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle to stay here. It was a wonderful experience and would stay there again in the future.
