Beach Rx is a beautiful 5BR/4BA, 3-story home located in the exclusive Villages of Crystal Beach neighborhood. The first floor boasts 10-foot ceilings and 8-foot doorways and features a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a large dining table plus breakfast bar. There is a king bedroom on the first floor, a queen bedroom and a king master suite on the second floor, a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed on the third floor along with a second living space with a queen-sized sleeper sofa, allowing sleep accommodations for up to 14 guests. The master suite also features a private kitchenette/wet bar, a flat screen TV, balcony access, and an ensuite with a corner Jacuzzi tub! Enjoy your refreshments on the two balconies or relax comfortably in one of the two living rooms. This luxurious community is about 900 yds from Crystal Beach and includes a complimentary seasonal trolley service to take you to and from the Gulf!

Villages of Crystal Beach is an exclusive, gated community only a few blocks from the beautiful blue waters and white sandy beaches of Destin. You can make the walk on foot or hop on the free seasonal trolley service (Memorial Day through Labor Day) they will even pick you up at the house and drop you off right at the beach! The pool area at Villages of Crystal Beach is a vacation must! The lagoon style zero entry pool is 30,000 square feet of gorgeous, sparkling clear water. There is a spa, tropical landscaping, and plenty of seating areas. It also has surround sound, a flat screen TV, and a grilling area to help you relax and unwind.

Please note that there are parking restrictions within the Villages of Crystal Beach. There are two parking spaces available in the driveway of the home. Trailers, RV's, boats, golf carts, and motorcycles are not allowed within the community gates; alternate parking arrangements will need to be made for these items.

Area Attractions: 

There are wonderful shops and restaurants close by and great attractions such as golf courses, Big Kahuna's Water and Adventure Park, boating, fishing, and watersports!

Also close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017.  Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Excellent Location and Great Price

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villages of Crystal Beach. There were three families in our group and the place was large enough to accommodate all of us. The pool area is very nice and it's around a 0.5 mile walk to the beach. The beaches in Destin are amazingly beautiful and I would highly recommend staying here and visiting the beaches.

I was a little disappointed in my stay when it came to the online listing. I was thinking the two king suites where on the first floor because i had my mother and my disabled husband traveling with me and my family . I also was under the impression that the beach was a block away. instead it was more like three blocks away. but other than that me and my family enjoyed our stay were nice neighborhood.

The house was well furnished and centrally located. The pool was fantastic and any problems we had were remedied fairly quickly. Parking was difficult because we had more than two vehicles and so did most everyone else, so even though there was overflow parking it was often full. The house was clean on the surface, but could definitely use a deep cleaning. We were short on linens, furniture was broken and pool bracelets were missing when we arrived. I let management know and they had everything remedied by the next morning. There were several large live roaches we encountered, I am from the south and understand bug, but a good spraying for bugs and a deep cleaning would have made this home even better. Last but not least the shuttle to the beach was awesome! Randi was our driver and he was so courteous, jovial and prompt! Overall I would stay here again.

The location and area were great. It is a bit far to walk to the beach especially if you are carrying chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and such. Go early to set up on public beach. The house was nice, but needs some attention. Some things can and should be checked during the turnover to the next renter and some items just need updating. Two of the TV's didn't work even after maintenance came out to check them, the grill didn't work which was a bummer because we planned meals using the grill, tub drains were clogged, refrigerator leaks. Management was super responsive and easy to speak with so no problem there. Lots of space in the house to spread out. We had 11 of us (6 teenagers & 5 adults). We all had a great time. Overall the property is good just not great.

Nice place however the grill didn't work, took several days to get a new one, upstairs kitchenette did not have a small fridge as advertised, never got one. Not much patio furniture either...2 chairs on third floor and 2 on second floor, none on first floor. With a house this size you would expect more patio furniture.
