We absolutely loved our stay at Coastal Crush! The property was clean, comfortable, and a quick 2-3 minute walk to a wonderful beach. had everything we need. We would definitely stay here again!

There was a lot of construction in the neighborhood and we had a very hard time getting in and out of the driveway. Parking was a nightmare. Advertised having a rare garage parking but when we arrived there was no garage parking so we had to many cars we only had 3. The house was nice but the we all thought the beds were very uncomfortable. Close to the beach house was clean but pool and pool deck were not. We were told they were coming to fix the broken ac on Tuesday there was a window unit on the second floor. No one ever came to fix it and there was no communication about it. Lots of promises with things to be made right but it never happened. This was but the best stay I’ve ever had.

Great House

This is our 4th house we have rented within the Destiny by the Sea community and we were very happy with the property. What we saw within the pictures and what we read within the description was very accurate. We had a great time and really enjoyed the great feeling of the house.

great space for 12!

We had a great time staying here. With 6 kids ranging from 5-11, the Tri-level experience offered space for us to spread out and do our own thing while not at the beach. Loved having the mini pool at the house because the kids used this while we cooked dinner or lounged. It was a way for those to rest who wanted while allowing the energetic ones an outlet as well.

Amazing beach vacation

Last Minute Getaway

My family decided to enjoy a last minute vacation to Destin just 72 hours prior to check-in. The property management staff persons were extremely accommodating and responsive. We encountered no issues and experienced zero inconveniences. The property is exactly as pictured and conveniently located very close to the beach.

Great but a few notes

Property is a little beat up. It’s fine in general and location and management response was great. Kitchen utensils need to be replaced. Grill didn’t get very hot so probably needs to be checked. Layout of the house worked for our family of 9.

Would for sure stay again!

We have stayed in this neighborhood a few years now, but this was the first time in this house. It had everything we needed and the kids absolutely loved the game tables. The pool is small (but no smaller than we expected) but perfect for when your kid wants to swim instead of beach, and perfect for adults to sit in. Most of the house is updated/remodeled and the areas that aren’t are still clean and nice. One small complaint, the upstairs bathroom has no door, so you don’t have privacy if someone is in the bedroom.

Great Family Getaway

We have been planning this vacation for 6 months to celebrate my husband's 70th and his sister's 80th birthdays. We love the location and pool. I took the kids (ages 2.5 and 5) in the pool while everyone else got ready for the beach. Worked perfectly as a distraction and was just the right size for them. Loved the open floor plan so we could all be together whether cooking, feeding the kids, or playing cards. Loved the game room as well. It was fun to watch the little ones learn the same games we played. Who knew these were still around. All in all, Thank you for a wonderful and memorable weekend. I wish it could have been longer, but we are already looking at dates for next year.

Destin is amazing

The property was not as exactly expected with a missing door handle, stairs that are broken and covered with tape. The most frustrating part was when the outlets on one side of the kitchen were not working and the stove quit working. I had to call and then when no one called me back I had to call again. But with that being said, it is a beautiful property located in an amazing development and I would still do it again

We loved Destin

Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean and close proximity to the beach and pool which was nice but the main level bedroom never got cool and was hot during our entire stay which made it very hard to sleep. It would have been nicer to have the adequate amount of seating in the dining room so we could all eat together but the table only could host half of us so some had to sit on the stairs, stand or we took turns. Same thing with the cars, the house holds 12 so if you have 3 cars, only 2 can fit in the driveway and the other car would have to find parking. Primary bathroom upstairs doesn’t have any doors so there’s no privacy and the pool was dirty when we arrived as well. Other than that, we had a great time and definitely be back to Destin.

Great Place, not very clean

Stayed here with my sisters and their kids. 12 of us total for 3 days. The property was very nice and in a perfect location. It had easy access to a private beach. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem like it was cleaned properly. The pool wasn’t cleaned and when we told them they sent someone out a day later and still didn’t clean it properly. The dishes (silverware) were not clean either, and the washer had what looked like mold along the inner surface of the door. It definitely smelled like mold in that bathroom. The AC in the second floor room wasn’t working and it made sleeping very uncomfortable for a one year old and her mom. We decided to grill one day only to find that it was left dirty as well. So we had to go out and buy foil to grill our food with. I took pictures of everything and sent them to the property managers and asked if they could issue some kind of compensation but they disagreed because I didn’t report it right away. I was there for only a short amount of time and did not want to waste my time dealing with issues that shouldn’t have been there in the first place. If a place is going to charge me a cleaning fee, it should be clean upon my arrival.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice average to slightly above-average property. It is in no stretch of the imagination a "luxury home" as advertised. The location is good with access to the beach. The community is restrictive. There is only 2 parking spots for advertised 12 people. Also, there are only 10 seated places for meals. There was mold and water damage in the 2nd floor bedroom. The washing machine had mold and a stench that made it virtually unusable. The game room would have been a hit w/ teenagers if the air hockey table was operational [broke]. The 3rd floor king size bed frame collapsed on a guest during the night due to lack of supports. The pool was nice, but both chairs were broken and there were no entry/exit rails. This unit is not viable for seniors or mobility restricted people. There were other maintenance issues reported. My Vacation Haven offered to send maintenance workers, but we came to vacation; not sit around waiting for maintenance work. Besides, these are items that should have been discovered with an adequate pre-occupancy inspection. I would not recommend this unit to friends

One thing after the other

We wanted to enjoy this stay but seriously one issue after the other. First it’s impossible to keep the house clean from the sand there is no hose to clean off before going in and not mats or rugs to catch the sand so it gets everywhere. Second the bedroom on the second floor has ZERO AC going in to it. They had to come and place a portable ac unit. Then the fire alarms kept going off. First it was if you used any appliance in the kitchen then you had to keep certain doors shut then it was constant and they couldn’t fix so they had to remove it we would have removed it but ceilings were too tall and couldn’t reach. Also we are from an area with crazy allergies and I have NEVER had any allergies before. I could not breathe in this house. I had to go outside in order for my airways to open up and had to buy medicine in order to stay inside for more than an hour at a time it was so bad. Also multiple members of the family complained about the beds and waking in pain that felt like bruises from the mattresses. Also beware of the stairs we had littles and if you are holding their hands the stairs are not wide enough around curves and multiple members fell kids and adults due to slippery and too narrow. We ended up leaving early the house was so miserable. Great location but will never be back.
