Eagles Retreat, a 4000 SQ FT private retreat with over 1500 sq ft of wrap around wood deck and seating areas plys separate flagstone patio, with tables and chairs. Nestled among the beautiful Ponderosa Pines in Strawberry, north of Payson, Arizona. A short 1.5 hour drive from Phoenix, enjoy the peace and tranquility as your closest neighbor is the Tonto National Forest.

Amenities include: volleyball, tetherball, tire swing, swing set and fort, pool table, air hockey, foosball, ping pong, badminton, basketball, board games, darts and horseshoes. You can even have fun sledding on the private sled hill when weather permits.

The thoughtful design of Eagles Retreat comfortably sleeps 28, with 5 private bedrooms, 3 full baths (master bath has a jacuzzi tub), a loft, family room with hide-a-beds, living room with hide- a- beds, wood-burning fireplaces in family room, electric fireplace in living room, and large cathedral-style windows, gorgeous decks and unbelievable views of the Ponderosa Pines. We even supply the firewood!!
With the modern, fully stocked kitchen, entertain your closest friends and family outside on the 315-degree wrap around wood deck, or on the natural flagstone patio by the beautiful fountain. Serve dinner in the dining room that seats 10 and a secondary table that seats 8.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
- place all used sheets, towels and pillowcases in hampers and place in the laundry room. (Please do not include comforters -or blankets unless they are dirty)
- put furniture and other things back where you found them - garbage container on the breezeway is for your convenience- please empty it and all trash from the cabin into the large green dumpster
At the door you originally entered with the keypad- press the circle to wake up, then your code, then the ✅ button- you will hear the door locking then something like a dog barking
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Youth Groups are subject to approval
Guest is required to answer a series of questions via Vrbo inbox within 24 hours of booking accepted

The communication from the host was fantastic! The photos don't do this justice either. Beautiful. We held our High School Winter retreat here and were blown away. Everything we could need was readily available. I pride myself on my cooking prowess and this kitchen did not disappoint. Nearly any tool I could want was there. I cannot say enough about this rental!

Our group of 5 couples absolutely loved Eagles Retreat! We had Elk come thru every morning and evening, a couple of them would hang out with us for quite awhile everyday of our stay. The house was perfect for our big group, lots of space to hang out, inside and outside, kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The guys enjoyed the game room too, it has something for everyone!Our host, Jeanay, was very helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. Our group enjoyed nearby activities including, fishing, golfing, and a trip to Tonto Natural Bridges Park.It is unamious with our group, we will be going back for a stay at Eagles Retreat!
