We had such an enjoyable time at this cabin. The area was quiet, sunsets beautiful, starry nights and cherry on tops was seeing elk twice! Cabin is clean, comfortable beds, great WiFi and stocked with most everything you need. We will definitely book again!
This place as an absolute dream. It was very clean and extremely organized. I went for a weekend away with my family for my husband’s 30th birthday and it absolutely met our needs. We would stay again.
The advertised sunset views were beyond beautiful, and we were fortunate enough to watch afternoon thunderstorms come in over the surrounding mountains. The cabin is in a neighborhood, but secluded amongst the woods and foliage, and they did a great job of maximizing the views and atmosphere. We highly recommend!
The views from this cabin are Magical!! Perfect size cabin plenty of room and beds were very comfortable. Spending the evenings by the fire listening to the elk was perfect way to end my days. Next time I’m back in Strawberry will definitely be staying here again!
Really enjoyed this nice cabin in the Pine/Strawberry area. Close enough to the small town of Pine but felt remote and private sitting out on the quiet patio with that incredible view. The house was clean, well stocked with the essentials, and provided everything needed for a great stay. Would definitely stay again.
Peaceful and tranquil but still close to the action.
Thank you so much for the great weekend! It is a beautiful place to stay, with peace, quiet and amazing views! We had no major complications and the owners are very responsive and accommodating. If we do take another trip to strawberry and pine we’d love to stay here again!
We absolutely love staying at this clean, cozy A-frame home. The views are amazing. It’s quiet & peaceful. It just has such a good vibe for us, that we come back every year (although I wish we could go more!). The owners are very accessible & responsive. We noticed several upgrades during our last visit. We just returned home & I’m already looking forward to our next visit!
We had the best time! Within the first hour of arriving we were relaxing on the amazing patio and we were greeted by 5 elk down in the trees! It was such a treat and really set the tone for our weekend. Everything was clean and well thought out. We would definiltey stay here again!
Me and my wife had such a great time at this beautiful A-frame cabin. We got rain on both nights we were there. And also got to see plenty of deer on the property as well. Check in process was a breeze and the cabin was clean and cozy. We are definitely going to be booking another stay with this cabin hopefully in the winter time. Highly suggest this cabin!
This is a great property with amazing views. The pictures on here are good but in person, they are much better. My wife, son and I absolutely loved this property. The cabin appears to be recently updated with all of the amenities needed. If that wasn't enough, the elk, sunsets and amazing things to do in the Strawberry and Pine areas, we will look forward to coming back. Great memories were created.
The house was small and cozy. It had a beautiful deck with amazing views. Property is at a great location within driving distance of several restaurants. You could see the neighboring houses but it still felt a little secluded and private. Driveway was a little tight for our large truck, but we made it work. We were visited by a family of elk - they walked right through the driveway! Check in was easy and communication was clear.
The renters did a good job of making this property feel like a home. It had everything you would pretty much need for a vacation. The location was great and the pictures that were put online was very accurate and yes we did have the experience of seeing Elk come through the yard. Our family loved it and hope to return one day. The only thing we were missing was a king bed for the master bedroom. Trying to fit 2 adults and a nursing 20 month old in a queen bed was rough. Overall, kudos to the owners. Great home and Great area.
Great Property But Owner Expects You to Do their job
Overall, it was a very good stay, up until the point where I came upon the rulebook in the property, which informed me that I was expected to clean all the dishes, put them back, take out the trash, strip the bed and gather the towels and still be out of the property by 10 am the following morning OR face a financial penalty for not acceding to the owner's wishes.
First of all, it's outrageous that I was charged $165 for a cleaning fee while being expected to perform a bevy of cleaning duties. Moreover, I likely would not have booked this property had these expectations been laid out in advance at the time of booking. At the very least, I think it's only fair to expect these conditions to be laid out in advance and not after I have checked in and paid in full
The outdoor part of this VRBO was stunning. The location is within close proximity to both downtown Pine and Strawberry. The furniture was comfortable.
I highly recommend visiting the Tonto Natural Travertine Bridge and Water Wheel Falls. For dining, I recommend Piebar for their empanadas and Old County Inn for their wood fired pizzas.
The only cons with the property were the pretty basic amenities. No washcloths. Only 1 dish towel. No oils or spices for cooking.
We did cook on the grill one night and it needed a very thorough cleaning before we used it as well as all of the glasses, plates and silverware in the cabinets had dried food on them and appeared dirty. We hand washed everything prior to using it and only had 1 dish towel to dry everything. No dish drying rack either.
I would recommend staying at this property, just be advised that you will need to bring a few things from home with you.
This is a wonderful property to stay at if you're looking for a trip down the shore with the family, dogs included! My husband and I stayed here with our 16 month old son and two border collies. The location is a nice balance of being close to the beach (about a 20 minute drive to Wildwood) with also being in a quiet residential neighborhood. The fenced in backyard was perfect for the dogs to run around in and made for easy bathroom trips. The house is a great set up for a small family. It was so nice having a washer and dryer to be able to wash bathing suits throughout the week we stayed here. There is a beach on the bay a short walk away, but due to the time of year we visited it was restricted due to migratory bird season. Overall I would recommend this rental to others who are looking for a nice place to stay near the beach with a young child and dogs!
