Luxurious Cottage Living In Edgartown Village

POINT B EXCLUSIVE - This quintessential village cottage has been recently renovated from top-to-bottom, with charming cottage styling and classic architecture throughout.

The first floor has an open living and dining floor plan, with two-and-a-half-story vaulted ceiling in the Living Area and a second-floor loft balcony. The Gourmet Kitchen has a prep counter/breakfast bar, granite counters, and commercial stainless appliances. The Dining Area opens to both the kitchen and living area, and has a sliding door to patio for outdoor dining and entertaining.

The Master Bedroom suite is also on the first floor. It features a full bath with tub and shower, plus a door to the outdoor shower. Also located on the first floor, a half bath with laundry area. An open staircase leads to a loft sitting area and the second Bedroom suite, which has a full bath with walk-in glass shower and doors from both the bedroom and loft area.

​​​​​​​The cottage is located in the heart of Edgartown Village on a lightly traveled lane, and has a large brick patio for outdoor entertaining. All of Edgartown Village is just a couple of blocks away, with its restaurants, shops, attractions and harbor.

Wonderful Cottage just steps to town.

We love this little home. We stayed here almost ten years ago when it was brand new and it is amazing how well maintained the property is. It looks as good as it did when we first visited. It has every amenity you could need and the location is ideal for those who want to be able to walk to shops and dinner every night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

This home is impeccably clean and has everything one would need for a short or long get away. It is located right in town, so we walked everywhere in Edgartown Village. We literally could not have asked for anything more! And, Point B Realty was wonderful and very communicative.

A perfect spot for R&R

The house is terrific and just right for 2-4 people--cozy but roomy enough to spread out. There is a fold-out couch in the loft that would allow 2 more people to stay, but there would not be enough seats at the dinner table or the living room. But for us, it was just right! We were on the island during a 3-day downpour, and we were glad to dry off and warm ourselves by the gas fireplace. On non-rainy days, we could walk to Main Street and drive to South Beach in just a few minutes. Overall, a perfect spot for R&R after a hectic summer. One (minor) drawback: The kitchen is small and not wonderfully stocked (no serving bowls or teaspoons). Counter space is tight. This is not the place to prepare an elaborate meal--not something we would try while on vacation anyway.

Adorable Cottage in the heart of Edgartown.

We had a really nice visit to Martha’s Vineyard, and this cottage was ok. Best part was the location - it was perfect! It is tucked down a sweet little lane, off the main thoroughfares. However, there is major construction happening across the road. The decor was current and clean, and the layout is very comfortable. The Queen bed is very rickety and squeaks with every tiny move. Made for a tough night sleep. The kitchen isn’t very functional or well equipped. The sink is tucked under the stairs, so the slanted ceiling is tough. Also, there were no simple amenities or pleasantries, that you’d usually find in a high end rental. No soap for the shower. Very few towels. The “Welcome Bag” was a few chocolate bars and a lot of real estate magazines. When we asked for soap, we expected them to drop some off - but nope. For the price we paid, we felt the owner or property manager could have offered a few basic amenities and service. Check in & out was complicated because there are 2 addresses. It all worked out

Cute cottage in Edgartown

This a a well kept small house in a great location, easy walk to Edgartown center. My only disappointment is that we weren’t advised that a home was being built across the street, so there was construction noise and loud music every day except two, one when the weather was bad and they didn’t work, and the other being Sunday. Ask about construction before renting.

New Years visit to MV

This home is small but well designed and the layout makes it feel spacious. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. It is within walking distance of downtown, the appliances are great, and it was well stocked with pots/pans/plates/etc. Edgartown is quiet this time of year but there is still plenty to do and many places to eat/visit and it's beautiful any time of year. We really enjoyed our short winter break at this house!

Pre-Holiday Getaway

Great house for a family of 3 or 4 with a beautuful kitchen, cozy gas fireplace and an outdoor shower! It's within walking distance to almost everything-- playgrounds, shopping, restaurants, etc. We were hoping for a quick getaway to recharge the batteries before the upcoming busy holiday season, which was exactly what we got-- can't wait to come back!
