This welcoming and comfortable two-story lakefront home sits in Falls Cove at the south end of beautiful Lake Glenville. Norton Falls, the largest waterfall on the lake, is only a few hundred feet from the dock and the relaxing sounds of rushing water can be heard throughout the house. Enjoy fishing and swimming or simply sit back and take in the tranquil water views from two huge covered rear decks or the boat dock.

The great room has striking beamed cathedral ceilings, lots of natural light and a large dining area, seating up to 10 people at the large table. The open kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and an island with additional seating.

The master suite and two guest bedrooms with another bath are also located on the main level, with another family room, third bath and 2 bunk bedrooms downstairs.

Less than 6 miles to the heart of Cashiers, NC, this wonderful mountain waterfront home is also convenient to Highlands and Sapphire.

This home has been a popular VRBO rental for the past several years. Sleeps up to 12 people. Check in 5pm on day of arrival. Check out 10am.

Lakefront with Waterfall

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was as listed, house was clean and really well-stocked. This property has its own dock on Lake Glenville and a view of a waterfall close by. The owner couldn't have been nicer and was always quick to respond. Check-in is seamless. We would definitely stay again.

Best vacation ever!

I can’t say enough about this stunning place on beautiful Lake Glenville - it’s perfectly clean with a stocked kitchen, beautiful dock with an incredible view of the waterfall that you can hear from the house - it’s so peaceful. We came with 4 kids from 8-12 years old and we had s’mores every night and played with the kayak provided. We rented a boat for 3 days and had the absolute best time ever! We went wake boarding , knee boarding and tubing. We hiked countless waterfalls and loved visiting the Farmers Market - they have the cutest Goldens! The house was perfect for our families - kids stayed in bunks downstairs and adults enjoyed the upstairs - we ate on the deck every night - we even bought a hammock and hung it on the deck and my son slept there overnight! So fun! If you’re looking for the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful vacation on Lake Glenville - it doesn’t get better than this place!! And the owners are a dream to work with - prompt responses and local knowledge of the area! Thank you and we will definitely be back!!!

Perfect Family Fall Break

We cannot rave enough about our time at this house. Excellent communication with the owner. The house was immaculately clean. Tons of space for family fun. They even had a pack n play and a baby gate. Beautiful views of the lake and a waterfall. Spectacular porch space. Golf cart (which we didn’t even use bc there was so much else to do). Fire pit. Dock and easy ride to a boat rental place. Very well stocked kitchen with way more kitchen gadgets and utensils than the average rental, which was very handy for someone like me who cooks and bakes all day. Excellent proximity to grocery and downtown cashiers shops (only 15 min away). Even with 2 rainy days we enjoyed our time at the house playing several of the many board games and sitting on the porches enjoying the scenery. Excellent proximity to several great hikes. Wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks Claire! We absolutely cannot wait to return!

Spectacular Deck!

Lake house was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Golf cart down to the dock was a lifesaver. The outside deck is spectacular and the large living area accommodated our large family very well.

Amazing Extended Family Getaway

We recently returned from Waterfall Cove and had an absolutely amazing time. The house itself was extremely clean, it did take the cleaners up until check in to get it finished, but it was worth the wait. The house is BIG so it makes sense with COVID that it takes the full length of time between check out and check in to get it ready for the next guests. There were so many thoughtful touches in the home, from the extensive supply of movies, books and board games to the addition of an amazing ice maker (I want one for my house). Claire was wonderful and offered excellent communication in addition to providing a top notch pdf overview of the house. The pdf answered practically every question. The internet was slow, but much better than we have experienced at other mountain lake house locations (looking at you Lake Lure). The lake access was a bit of a hike down and back to the house, a ton of stairs, but it helped us close our rings every day and the inclusion of the golf cart helped Grammy make quick trips up to the house when needed. The entire crew ages 3 to 60 loved our stay and highly recommend the house! Thanks again Claire!

Great Experience

Total of 12 family members stayed in the house covering three generations. We had a wonderful time. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The walk to the lake is very steep with lots of steps so we were very grateful for use of the golf cart for the older generation. Rented a boat from the marina - the lake is beautiful. Claire sent information about the house and area before our stay and was very helpful with all of our needs. Completely recommend this property.

Beautiful home

We greatly enjoyed our trip to Waterfall Cove. The house was very well appointed and spotless when we arrived. This group has rented many homes over the years and the kitchen in this home was the best. Well laid out, tons of utensils and the fastest ice maker ever. What a nice bonus! And the water pressure and linens were excellent. We had a couple of minor issues but the owners were so responsive and dealt with them promptly. The only thing that isn’t clear on the listing is the steepness of the lot. It is quite a hike down from the house to the dock. We managed, but visitors with disabilities would have a hard time. Overall it is a great home with wonderful owners. Thanks for a memorable vacation!

Great house on Lake Glenville!

This house was a great fit for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 11-16). The private lake access was great, and cove was perfect for swimming. The house was SO well equipped. Claire was awesome to deal with, and the house truly felt like home. Highly recommend.
