This was by far the best equipped and most charming property we ever stayed at. Felt like a true home compared to the many soulless rentals one comes across over the years. Julien was a fantastic host. This house is a true gem.
We (3 generations) had a wonderful stay at your lakefront house. We had ample space and it was the perfect place for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with so many small appliances which made cooking super easy. The hot tub was amazing, and we loved spending evenings by both the indoor fire place and outdoor fire pit. The ping-pong table and air hockey table were huge hits too. We truly had a great time and would absolutely stay here again.
Beautiful location in a comfortable, well appointed home . Our family loved swimming & boating, the fire pit & the porches …a great place to gather & play or relax .
After many years of doing vacation rentals I have to say this is one of the best homes we have ever stayed it. And the owners have it furnished with just about everything you could need!
wonderful mountain and lake views… beautifully decorated, best vrbo stocked kitchen I’ve ever been in. Comfortable and incredibly clean (and we are picky about this). Absolutely would stay here again! We really enjoyed it!

Thank you very much Dianne . Looking forward to have you again soon !
Our group of nine (my parents, my husband and myself and my brother and his wife and their three kids) had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The waterfront location on the lake was great. We rented a pontoon boat and loved every second of it. And we enjoyed the "toys" (kayaks, paddle boards and more) already at the house too. The house is lovely and comfortable with plenty of common space for hanging out and an awesome kitchen for cooking meals. We would absolutely look at renting this home again!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-stocked property! Spectacular fall views from the fire pit and hot tub. Even our 5-year-old had a wonderful time with all the extra amenities. Definitely recommend this property!
Very comfortable for 2 families with 5 kids. Great views, easy driveway (neighbors have steep driveways), great indoor and outdoor spaces. I would love to come back in the summer.
Our family had a great stay at this lake house. The house was very well stocked, clean, and comfortable. The view from the deck was amazing. The kids loved playing on the beach and going in the hot tub in the evening. The hosts had great communication and were very helpful. We will be back!
Easy booking and good communication with owner. House has tons of space and was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Hot tub was a nice feature. Firewood was available for indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. We enjoyed our stay and will book again!

Thank you Mike . We are so glad that you have enjoyed your stay .
You read reviews & look at pictures, this home & location was better than expected! We had 9 in our family & house had plenty of space & amenities.
1.5 miles on one lane road on side of mountain to get there, but well worth it. Julien promptly answered our questions & hope to rent again next year!
We absolutely loved our weekend in this home! The views were breathtaking. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked. Our kids loved the ping pong table, and there were all sorts of kid friendly games and puzzles they enjoyed as well. The highlight of the trip was a 3-hour, very competitive game of corn hole!
We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed an amazing stay at this home away from home! The view was stunning, amenities galore, the kitchen was nicer than my own at home!! The lake was wonderful, property included a canoe, kayaks and paddle board! We loved the fire pit where s’mores was a nightly ritual! Property owner was wonderful and got back promptly with any questions! We would love to stay again! No detail was left undone to make sure guests felt “at home” and cozy! Loved every minute!!
We had 9 in our family-6 adults and 3 children ages 6 to 11. The accomodations are first class and the setting couldn't get much better. Escaping from a heat index of 112 degrees the 60 degree mornings were a welcome respite and the Lake Glenville water was so refreshing. We had some trouble one day with the hot tub but Julien had someone out to fix it within a couple hours. Overall outstanding stay.
This is the second year we have spent a week here because it "fits" our family. The grands have all types of water sports to keep them busy and the adults love jumping in the lake also. With King size beds in 3 of the bedrooms it fits our 6 feet plus frames and the grands have their own bedroom and bath. Any issues with the property are immediately addressed. We will be back.
Family celebration in this beautiful mountain lakeside home! Spectacular views from almost every room. There was something to do for every age. There were kayaks, a canoe, giant inflatable unicorn for the kiddos and lily pad at the dock and air hockey inside. We enjoyed cooking on the Blackstone grill, evenings in the hot tub overlooking the lake and making s’mores at the fire pit! It was heaven looking at the stars and seeing the Harvest Moon by the fire! The kitchen was amazing with literally everything we needed for meals. Everyone loved their king size beds & the bathrooms had everything too! We will be back! Our family said it was the best trip ever!!!

Thank so much for the opportunity to host you and being such a great guest. Pls come back soon !
Home was truly amazing in every way. View of the lake was stunning. Beds were the most comfortable I have encountered in a VRBO rental. The house was flawlessly clean. I mean spotless! Kitchen is well stocked for any need you have. Owner was a joy to communicate with. The outdoor setup is perfect. Internet worked great. Came with one of my friends for some hiking and fishing and both of us want to come back with our families. Could not think of one thing that was wrong with this property. Well done by the owners! Highly recommend.

Incredible property perfectly positioned on the lake
Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids ages 4-9) just completed a 6 night stay at this beautiful and well-outfitted lake property. Lake Glenville was an idyllic setting with still waters, awesome surrounding lakeside greenery, and 3 awesome waterfalls to check out. The house was one of the best equipped houses we stayed in (and we stay in a lot of rentals properties). The Blackstone grill top was great for lakefront breakfasts, fajitas, and smash burgers. There kitchen had all the amenities and the basement was mid heaven with huge flat screen tv, ping pong, air hockey, and darts. There was room in the backyard for throwing a ball and the solo stove fire pit was used every night. They even had an electric smoker which we put to good use making a smoked pork shoulder. The private dock was a great location for swimming, canoeing/paddle boarding (which were also include) and I highly recommend renting a boat from the nearby marina to enjoy down extended lake time. So convenient to keep the rental boat docked at private dock for easy lake in-and-out. Overall, just a fantastic property that I cannot recommend enough. Will be back.

Thank you so much for the great words about our house . We are looking forward to host you back !
Our family, who live near Asheville, enjoy an annual lake trip, and we've been going to Keowee for several years; prior to that, Nantahala. We think we've found the sweet spot here at Julien's comfortable home on Lake Glenville. Our two granddaughters, ages 7 and 4, were very happy with their bunk room, downstairs living room with books and toys, and kid-sized paddleboard and kayak. Their mom enjoyed the privacy of her ensuite bedroom, with its access to the large and very clean hot tub. The two upstairs bedrooms provided comfort for the rest of our family, and we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen each night. We opened the house upon arrival to allow the cool mountain air inside, as the first four days of our stay in late June were dry and pleasantly cool. Turned the AC on our last day, but if more of the windows had screens, we would have kept it off. A recommendation to Julien is to put screens on all windowsan energy saver for the homeowner and a way to enjoy natural breezes for the guests. The house has plenty of fans, which keeps it cool without the AC. We never left the house during our stay and enjoyed the Solo stove at the firepit every night. The house is situated on a small, quiet cove on the lake, and the only boats that come near are the neighbors'. Peace and quiet, lots of room, comfortable house---they all make for an ideal vacation, and we are looking forward to our return next June.
