A property and stay! Amazing location and views. The house is so charming and beautiful. The hosts did an amazing job with it. Will be back again for sure.
The cabin is beautiful with an excellent view of the mountains. It is so spacious and there was enough room for everyone in our family, with three really lovely bathrooms, a huge kitchen and an incredibly big loft. We had such a wonderful stay in the mountains!

Dawn, thanks so much for the wonderful review. We’re so glad you and your family enjoyed your time away. It was a pleasure to host you and we hope to have you all back someday!
Danielle's house was clean and comfortable for our group! It's a great location, close to everything you need but feels remote. We loved the proximity to skiing and hiking and would recommend this to anyone looking for an outdoor retreat.

I’m so glad you and your family got to experience this getaway for Christmas and New Years. Thank you for the review. We’re happy to have you all back any time.
Driveway was a little tough for anything less than a four-wheel-drive truck house was clean. The heat seem to be on and could not be turned off in the gas grill did not work and it was torn apart. I would stay there again.

Hi John, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay enough to stay again! To clarify for other potential travelers - We do warn about the road a number of times. The heat was not stuck on, but the house does get hot from the large windows overlooking the mountains. We have a/cs to combat that issue. Upon checking, the grill is also not falling apart and does function…. But I am sorry you had trouble using it. The handles are the only thing that can be touchy if you pull them versus turn them.
My brothers and I had a great time. The home was everything we wanted and needed it to be. We appreciated the internet and smart tv's being modernized and accomodating. Will stay there again. Perfect location for enjoying UTV's, local restaurants, and nature.
This home is beautiful. Sitting on the deck for morning coffee and taking in the view makes this home feel like on top of the world. The house is well stocked and very clean. We loved visiting with family and hiking nearby. We hope to return next year and stay longer.
This property is pretty awesome. The View is undescribable!
Checking in was very easy, the place is spotless, it has everything. We were three couples, and we appreciate the privacy that we each had, at the same time it was nice to gather everyone around the big table and spend some time together in the main living room and on the patio.
In addition to the cabin itself being pretty nice and having everything that you might need the view is just amazing!
If you are looking for a place in this area I strongly suggest you consider this cabin.

Thanks so much for the great review! It was a pleasure to host you and your group. We hope to welcome you back sometime!
We had a great getaway here! It is close to anything you need yet set back from the people, traffic and noise. Proof ?... We actually saw a moose walking around the property one morning. This is not a joke... it was HUGE with a full rack! Danielle was readily available when we had a little "hiccup" with the TV service. The place was tidy and had just what you need. Oh, and welcome muffins that we enjoyed with the complimentary coffee every morning!

Fantastic Cabin near Gorham, Great for Large Groups
10 of us stayed at the Mountainview Cabin for a long weekend ATV trip to Jericho State Park. The cabin was beautiful, well appointed, and had plenty of room for all of us and our stuff. The weekend of riding was excellent and the cabin was only about a mile from the ATV trailhead, so it was very convenient. The only thing to note is the dirt road up to the house is steep and very rocky. All of our pickup trucks made it just fine but a low car would have a tough time. However, Danielle was sure to point this out to me when I booked, so it was not a surprise.
Overall, I definitely recommend this cabin!
Our family had a fabulous time at this property. The house was very well stalked with all you would need as far as housing goes . We decided on this house because the ratings were well stated from other renters and because it was between Santa’s village and Story land! Which we did for the little ones. The house is all that is listed in the VRBO and some. The location is up a mountain road but we are Mainers and travel dirt roads so it was no issue to us. Thank you Danielle as you were so very attentive to my questions through e-mails. We hope to rent again in the future! The views are spectacular!
