We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. Everything we needed was provided and the place was spotless, spacious and extremely well maintained. The cozy wood interior and fresh wood smell made it feel warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The living room fireplace was a highlight - we had such a great time relaxing and playing board games there. The bathroom was spacious and well stocked with plenty of towels which we really appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed making great breakfasts each morning. We also loved the thoughtful touches for families, especially the toys for our little one - she had a blast. The location is perfect for exploring the area while still feeling peaceful and quiet. Overall, a wonderful getaway. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
This cabin had everything needed for a relaxing stay! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the living room had books games and puzzles. We enjoyed grilling and dining on the deck. The hosts thought of everything!
Large, cozy, rustic log cabin with a well-stocked kitchen, two comfortable living rooms, and beautiful property and patio area. We enjoyed all of our meals in the dining gazebo (except on one rainy day). About 20 minute walk to a quiet beach. A wonderful retreat.
We stayed a week at this amazing property. From getting details from Leslie to our arrival right through the entire stay we loved it. There were tiny details (like a wee pot of honey) that made a spectacular place even sweeter. We spent our time exploring the area and relaxing on the deck or in the sunroom. Perfect stay - thanks!

We're so glad you had a fabulous week 😊 We would happily host again.
We had such an amazing time at this unique cabin near Lake Huron. Everything was warm and inviting—from the welcome card and gift of honey to the wee (crocheted, not alive! ) mouse hanging out over the kitchen table. Not to mention the beautiful chimes outside the sunroom—I would love to know where they came from. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Leslie and Steve.

Cute cabin. Far walk with children to water, water is difficult to access steep hill. Cabin needed a good cleaning.
Had an absolutely wonderful time at this space - exceptionally clean, beautiful space and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Close to the beach and local shopping - will definitely be returning!
Very beautiful log cabin with everything you need for a relaxing getaway!! Extremely clean and a cozy cottage with a lovely wood stove that was enjoyed all weekend.
Thanks Lesley and Steve for letting us stay. Will highly recommend and hope to be back again soon!
We meet up with our adult kids and had a great weekend together. We loved that the cottage we spacious enough that we could enjoy quiet reading time by the gas fireplace ot tv by the woodstove. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals.
We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Log Cabin. It was very comfortable, clean, warm and with beautiful views of nature from the 4 season sunroom. Everything was well-labeled and we had everything we needed to have a decadent weekend getaway.
Leslie was very welcoming so it wasn't a surprise upon arrival to be greeted with a beautifully prepared and clean cabin. Fully stocked - not only with necessary essentials - but way above and beyond! 2025 Christmas was special and will be a warm, fond memory for years. I sent a Merry Christmas message to Leslie who replied in kind within minutes! There was never a need to contact Leslie with any questions or issues, but we were quite impressed with her quick response all the same (During Christmas Holidays!!).From our family to anyone considering making this cabin a place to relax and enjoy any occasion - we cannot recommend it highly enough.
Just like it says…cozy log cabin! Has all amenities with utmost charm. Quiet peaceful and suited 5 adults just fine! Dinners in backyard under screened in gazebo great to keep wasps out. Has toys for kids and dog if family coming. 10min drive to main beach Goderich and walkable smaller beach end of road and down steep path. Ok for most adults unless you have some mobility issues walking. Great bakeries in Goderich! Sunsets stunning …love Lake Huron. Thank you Leslie and Steve for hosting us!

About the host

My husband, Steve and I have a combined 35 years experience in hospitality and enjoy a love of travelling ourselves. Together we love creating lasting memories and experiences for friends and guests. Steve worked for 5 years at the Banff Springs Hotel, and we met while both working at the Chateau Lake Louise. Steve’s favourite role with Canadian Pacific was bartender at the Works Ski Lounge at the Banff Springs where he had the pleasure of serving guests from near and far including some very familiar household names!
I began in the service industry managing my parents B&B and antique business in Stratford during my teens. I then was a server and later manager for both a restaurant in Stratford and at the Chateau Lake Louise. I also spent time working as a Front Office Supervisor in Lake Louise. Needless to say, these combined experiences provided us with lots of training and knowledge of premium service. Having both worked at some of Canada’s most iconic properties and learning the art of what exceptional service looks like, we are excited to share our happy place with you and help you create lasting memories!
