My husband and I wanted a somewhat secluded place but ended up being right in front of another rental. The description of the place was misleading. It said we would have our own firepit and a private dock. Neither of those were true. The description said even though you can see other cabins across the lake it never says there is one right behind you
We booked this place last minute and really just wanted a place to sleep at night while we explored the area. We were blown away by this sweet little place and hope to return soon for a stay-in-place visit.
The cottage itself was adorable, updated and comfortable for our small family. It was super clean and very well stocked with all kinds of kitchen gadgets and cookware. The views of the lake from the front porch were stunning! I enjoyed coffee and wine from my lounger every day.
The resort grounds were quiet and peaceful but not stuffy. I felt comfortable letting my toddler be a toddler. There was a shared beach area and playground that my son liked. The lake was crystal clear and perfect for shallow swimming. My son and I watched fish and a few turtles swim right under our private dock.
The owners were so incredible. You could tell they loved their place and loved hosting. They were so kind and so attentive/helpful. Would definitely return!
