Great Location - 5-Star Potential without management company!!
Overall, it was a great stay! Worst part is working with a management team, instead of the owner! The E-lock code given to us to get into the condo didn’t work! The customer service number was like in Oregon for our place in Folly Beach, SC. They changed the code electronically over the phone twice and it still didn’t work. I was cut off twice and had to call back. We waited outside for over an hour with all our luggage on the front porch. Finally, I called again and got someone who could give me a code to the master lockbox to get an actual physical key to the unit. We still didn’t have a way for everyone to get in without using one key for six people until late afternoon the next day, which is not acceptable. When someone local finally did come, he was not told of all the issues. He was only told about the kitchen clock not working. Luckily, we were there at the time he arrived and told him about the e-lock not working, which was the most important thing. He told us there were issues with the locks and the company knew it. So the local maintenance man is the one who gave us HIS code to get into the unit for the rest of the vacation.The condo could use some TLC. It seems they are doing some renovations. The mattresses need to be changed out. There is some mold in the master suite. There just needs to be a lot more attention to detail. We also had to walk through a puddle of water 3 of 5 days to get in the front door because water had drained there….ran out of space
