The property was as advertised. The property owner/manager, Jim, lives on site and is very friendly and helpful. It was clean and perfectly located as we split the bulk of our time between Edinburgh, Glasgow & Stirling/Falkirk. The amenities need some updating including pots/pans, towels and bed pillows. Overall, very nice stay and would certainly recommend. Watching the sheep, right outside our door, was a definite highlight!
Jim who is the owner was great. Any time we had a question or needed something he was available to give us guidance. The property was beautiful. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there very much. It was really nice being out in the country but very easy to get to food stores and the cute town of Linlithgow.
Beautiful location and such a clean and comfortable cottage. The location allowed us to explore the whole region and my kids are already wanting to go back!
My family and I had a wonderful week at this cottage. It is perfectly situated for exploring all the historic and modern sites and places of interest within central scotland. Short drives to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The big bonus is the two fishing lakes onsite, so don't forget your fly fishing equipment (like I did ) I did manage to get a few hours in at the end of my holiday. All in all a very good relaxing holiday was had by all,and yes we will return sometime in the near future.
Jim is very friendly and his property was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It’s only about a ten minute drive from the center of Linlithgow and so very accessible to many places in Central Scotland. The view from the cottage was quintessentially Scottish - rolling hills and sheep! The drive up to the cottage was a little like a ride on a wooden rollercoaster so be prepared!
The property was very comfortable and lived up to all our expectations. It provided lovely views and was very peaceful. It is also convenient to the town where there were ample opportunities to shop and dine.
Very good accommodation. Good location for travelling to local amenities and site seeing.

Liked: Location
The cottage is in a lovely quiet and convenient location. However, we'd like to note that both the ironing board and airer were broken, and no hairdryer was provided. The host was very friendly, but we feel he could pay more attn to detail prior to a let.

Very sorry about the clothes dryer and ironing board, but if they had let me know I would have replaced them right away. There is definitely a hair dryer on site.regards Jim Gargaro.
An amazing stay. If you are looking for peace and quiet after a long day exploring the cities and travelling, this is a wonderful place to come back to and enjoy the serenity. Can not fault it at all. Close to the town of Linlithgow for all your supplies and close to a main freeway for travelling.
