Our weekend could not have been more idyllic! The setting was beautiful. The hosts were gracious and helpful. The property instructions were detailed and clear. Our weekend was spectacular.
This was easily the best property I've stayed in around the Green Mountains and the Upper Valley. The house was exceptionally well designed, with comfortable and private rooms, great gathering spaces, and a highly functional kitchen. The architecture is also perfect for the setting, with lots of warm wood, tall ceilings, and vistas over the property to the mountains. You could tell that the hosts care deeply about their guests' experience, with thoughtful notes on the the area, the house, and the wildlife. I would jump at the chance to stay here again.
Our family had the greatest time staying at this home, with incredibly comfortable beds, multiple living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could ever need, and a fantastic playroom for kids of all ages on the bottom level. This home feels like a real home, with love and care in every corner. The table was set when we arrived, and it could fit all 12 of us with ease. There were sweet gifts from VT and pantry staples that helped us as we baked and cooked our meals together with a beautiful view of the mountains. Our children sledded down the hills, skated on the frozen pond, and then we took ourselves to the slopes just 15 minutes away each day. It was a dreamy stay and we hope to come back again and again and again.
We had extended family stay here for a local graduation. 4 family groups and 10 people. There was plenty of room for everyone. House and the property was lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board on the lake.
