BEACH FRONT!!!

On the Guest second day she reported the letted tub, (not sure why she called it “luxury”..??) had black flakes come out of the of the jets when it first turned on and mentioned the drain was slow. I immediately responded that those were bits of algae from lack of use but I would have Maintenance come and check the drain. They did and found it was not only draining slow but had a leak. So they repaired it. Not sure what I could have done differently..? As for the other drains, that was never mentioned by the Guest but that could have been easily taken care of had I know. The Guest also reported one of the wall plugs in the kitchen was not working on day three. I responded to check the GFI on the opposite wall and that should take care of it. But, if it didn’t let me know and Maintenance would take a look. Never heard another word from the Guest. We did have a water main break and all water in the complex had to be shut down for a few hours mid day three. I notified the Guest immediately and there were also signs posted in the elevators. I don’t have any info on alarms going off nor did the Guest mention that until review time. The most frustrating thing for a Host and Guest are issues that arise during a stay. Fixes, no matter how easy do cause disruption to the Guest, but things do happen. I always try to be quick to respond and act to get things taken care of on the rare occasion they come up, but to get hit with a negative review in this case seems a bit unfair.

Thanks for the review, Donna! As the busy season winds down we notice how some things, (like cookware and utensils) seem to have disappeared from the condo! We restock when we know things have gone MIA and full refresh over the winter. Thanks again! Tim
