Good beach spot

The condo itself was great for our family of 4 with pre-teen kids. For older kids the unit probably wouldn't work as well due to the bunks being small. The living area was very nice, open, and large. We only had two negatives with the unit itself; very little privacy as it's small but we knew this going in. Second, the master would never get dark due to the lights outside of the unit. You should consider brining eye masks. As for the building,. Parking is a pain as the garage is across the street and it's very congested. But it just added an additional five minutes coming and going. The MAJOR problem is the elevators. The building has 7 elevators, if this wasn't on the beach with people constantly coming and going with lots of items it would be fine. But that isn't the case and everyone has lots of items. Arriving took 45 minutes to get an elevator, this isn't an exaggeration. With a 30 floor building there were a lot of people using the elevators and only one luggage kart would fit at a time. Normally that too would be fine but you access the elevators from the 2nd floor when arriving due to the parking situation. Everyone coming back from the beach access from the ground floor. Normally the elevators would be full or too full to accommodate the kart. During the busy times there were elevator attendants but they really didn't help much. And be ware they do play music and one of the attendants in particular plays very inappropriate music full of profanities. Once the building improves the elevator situation it will be a great place to stay. Or if you have plenty of patience every time you want to use the elevator it's a great place now.

Comfy Condo

We loved having two couches to stretch out on in the living room, loved the style of furniture and the added touches of artificial greenery throughout, the ocean and beach views can’t be beat, and we had everything we needed. Loved it!

Nice condo

We enjoyed our stay at the condo! Like others have mentioned the elevators could be kind of slow but still manageable. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is there is only 2 chairs on the balcony and one looked a little ragged like maybe we shouldn't sit in it. Also the fridge smelled like fish. The water pressure in the master is a bit forceful but still ok. The bed wasn't super comfortable and the light through the window in the master shines pretty bright through out the night. But these were all minor things that didn't really affect our overall opinion of the condo. We only stayed one night so a longer stay may have made the little things bigger. We also paid for late check out but they still changed changed code before it was time for us to checkout so I had to call and get that sorted out so that we could get back in the room and pack up.

Not worth what I paid for.

Room was hot and stuffy. Could not adjust temperature. Dryer would not dry clothes. Room was not clean. Mold growing on baseboard in bathroom. Elevators here are awful!! No air or fans in hallway or on elevator. Waited anywhere from 15-30 min to catch elevator.

Nice but some issues

Pros:Good location, great beach, nice room, comfy beds, awesome balcony and view. Cons: elevators take way too long to the point of it being a major issue and hassle to go anywhere. Dishwasher was broken upon arrival and not working 3 out of 4 days and It was filled with old fish fry water upon arrival and the smell was so bad my kids couldn’t handle it. Not a good first impression. I called and they came and shop vacuumed the dishwasher out and put some bleach in it, but for $400 a night after taxes I didn’t want to deal with that issue and shouldn’t have arrived to that.

Great family Get Away!

This was our 2nd time staying at Tidewater and into 2303 did not disappoint. Everything was super clean. I was worried about elevator times being on 23rd floor, but even at high traffic times the wait was never more than a few minutes. Rooms were super quiet, spacious and nicely decorated. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay with a great location.

Great stay, but a few issues

We stayed in condo #2303, and although it was nice, it had a few issues. The location of the bedroom is in the front of the condo, and is right under the exterior hallway light. Even with the shutters closed, enough light came through the window to keep the room somewhat lit all night. You can also hear people walking by if they are pulling luggage or talking. The light in the master bathroom shower didn't work, but was probably a bulb issue. The living room furniture was not very comfortable, and really needed some pillows. Although the condo claims it sleeps 8, it would be difficult to do so. There is one bedroom, a set of bunk beds and two couches. Both open into beds, but with the size and configuration of the furniture it would be very hard to get both couches open at the same time. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, but there were only four forks. The other things it could have used were dish clothes, hot pads and a cookie sheet/pizza pan. We stayed there for a month, so luckily we had some of these things from home. Overall we had a very nice stay at Tidewater, and hope to do so again, but we would probably not choose this particular unit, due to it's location.
