We spent a month in this home. It was clean and the kitchen had most everything we needed. Any issues we had, we contacted Al and he was very responsive.The home needs a new recycling bin since the one there doesn’t have a lid and the city wouldn't pick it up.The beach umbrellas are in pretty rough shape and need to be replaced. We did enjoy the convenience of the wagon and beach chairs. Besides some plumbing issues in the masterbath, which Al is addressing, we were quite happy with the home. We would stay in this rental again.

Spacious home with everything we needed. Central marco island. Highly reccomed, we would stay again. Even had bikes. We saw a playpen in closet. Plenty of towels. Backyard was very comfortable. A lot of parking space.

Great Value

Nice spaces. Shortage of soap at sinks and showers. Pool had dead frogs and lots of bugs in it, needed cleaning. Great location!

Convenient Luxurious Home

I stayed at this home for a family vacation with my three children under 6. It was conveniently located near the beach and restaurants/shopping. We had plenty of space and it was well stocked. We spent afternoons relaxing by the pool.

Beautiful but not close to beach

The house itself is fantastic. Well stocked, nice bedding, super warm pool. Great outdoor space. Word to the wise, the beach is NOT a 8-10 min walk to the beach. It’s more like a 25 min walk and it’s along a busy road. You definitely will need to drive to the beach.

I am not sure of each beach you are referring too but ocean and beach is less then a mile away from our home, it is a beach pass next to residents beach that you can walk to get to the beach, all beaches in Marco and Florida are public and can be used by anyone, I walk there all the time myself and it is 8 to10 min walk, I am not sure that you new that along the beach in Marco Island are pathway walking passes, during season months sometimes it is hard to find a parking and you need to drive further away, thank you for staying with us Best, Al Nazarko

Everything was perfect except the AC function.It was really hot in the house for the whole time and was impossible to sleep well.Other than that everything was very good.

Thank you very much for your review and i am very sorry for the trouble with air conditioning. We called the AC company immediately and after checking the thermostat they found out that the setting on the Unit was changed to "AWAY" posibly by previous guests making the Unit cooling only to 80 degree, it was a very small click to make it work fully operational, i wish you have called us for me to show you over the phone how to setup the AC on your arrival to run properly and be fully operational Best, Al Nazarko

First the not so great: The host never responded to the garage door not working properly. The fridge in the kitchen didn't work and we had to put all of our groceries in the dirty garage fridge. There is mold growing on the ceiling in the master bath and in the front facing bedroom. I am highly allergic and spent my entire vacation wheezing. The rugs are a shag type and it seems to harbor a lot of pet dander. The home is in need of painting, badly. The good was the cleanliness of the floors and countertops.

Hi Elizabeth, I am sorry about the issues on your stay. If you remeber we comunicated about the garage door keypad that was not working and i advised you to use the remotes until garage door company came to fix it, someone from previous guests had changed the code and didnt notify us. I personally checked the house and there's not any mold in the house, what you are refering too is a condensation mildew on the master bathroom AC Grill which usually hapens when air conditioning is on and runing, and doors or windows are left open leting warm weather from the outside to inside entering in. About the refrigerator in the Kitchen upon checking everything looks fine, it is a fairly new one purchased 3 years ago, we are not sure if the freezer works at a full capacity or not, to make sure and avoid any complaints we have ordered a new one which should be installed this week. Fine...but just fine

When we arrived there was no TP, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, hairdryer or toiletries. We did contact the host and he sent someone with those things right away. The garage door code did not work. We were told someone would come over to look at it but that didn't happen. The kitchen freezer door did not seal properly. We were not able to use it as it didn't keep things frozen. There is a freezer in the garage which we used. We contacted the host but nothing was done about that. There was what appeared to be mold on the floor inside the main shower. The throw rugs in several of the rooms are thick shag and quite beaten down. This is a pet friendly home. We did not bring a pet but I did step on something hard on the kitchen rug. To my surprise it was a hardened piece of dog poop! The listing says the "entire house was gutted and renovated completely in 2020." If this is the case they got ripped off! Most of the kitchen chairs, especially the ones at the counter have no padding. The lighting is quite pretty and the landscaping is nice. The sofas and beds were comfortable. The main thing to know (if this isn't enough) is the distance to the public beach access. The description says "8-10 min walking distance away from pristine beaches of Marco Island." It is nearly a 2 mile walk to get to the nearest public beach access. I'm not sure who can do that in 10 minutes especially carrying beach supplies. There were 2 bikes in the garage with flat tires and a pump that didn't work.

Hi Mark, Thank you very much for letting us know and the constructive criticism, we are going to address all issues immediately. Sometimes it is very hard to correct issues when booking are back to back and when previous guests do not report or break something unintentionally. Distance to the Residents Public beach or the Ocean from our house it is less then a mile, 8-10 min walking distance. It is a access path on both sides of Residents Beach that gets you to the beach areas, of course it is other beaches as well further away. All Beaches in Florida are public and can be used by anyone. Great family vacation in Marco

My family stayed Spring Break week in April and had a great time. The property is well maintained and well stocked with essentials. Pool was perfect for the kids after a long day at the beach. Pool was well maintained and always warm. We look forward to staying again.

Relaxing and Quiet Gateway

My girlfriends and I really enjoyed this trip. The house was perfect. Cleaned, very well stocked, and nicely decorated. While we spend most of the time at the pool which was very cleaned and there was floating devices to relax and beach towels at the property. The property is centrally located and many restaurants and stores are just a few minutes away. But the house itself is very quiet which was very nice. Highly recommend.
