Set in the beautiful Vienne department just 12 minutes from the centre of Poitiers, the centre of the Poitou at Bois Gerbault can be found at their beautifully restored ancient farm house waiting for you to experience also the quiet and peacefulness of the French country side.
Bois Gerbault is the perfect place to chose for those family gatherings and to spend your holiday living ‘à la française’. Set in 1 hectare of beautifully maintained gardens the heated swimming pool is just perfect to relax. Surrounding the pool are the recently converted out buildings which now includes a bar / relaxing area, dining room together with a large Moroccan style entertaining space which transports you to another world with its lanterns, terracotta walls and view over the pool.
Just a few miles from Bois Gerbault there are many cultural sites to visit ranging from architecture from the Romanesque period to the well known Parc du Futuroscope which is fun for all the family.
Sleeping up to 8 people with 4 bedrooms and 2.5bathrooms the interior of Bois Gerbault has been lovingly restored into the family home of Thierry and Veronique and is a place to celebrate that special occasion. Being only 12 minutes from Poitiers airport where regular flights arrive from the UK or Poitiers train station with the direct TGV fast train from Paris Montparnasse and Paris Charles De Gaule it is easily accessible even for just that long weekend away.
Come and enjoy a wine glass surrounded by nothing but quiet and birds signing while still being a few kilometers away from one of the main cities in this area :)

We are a recently retired couple originated one from Paris and the other from the Limousin region not far from this house. We are joyous people who like to share good moments and meet new people. We have traveled quite a bit, and know what it is like to arrive somewhere wanting to be well received.
Why they chose this property
This house is our third baby, as we already have two children, one living in Mexico and the other in Amsterdam (Holland). We have spent almost 20 years perfecting every single aspects of this Home. Every single detail, room and spaces are made to welcome new people and spend lovely tines with family and friends.
What makes this property unique
In our entourage we know quite a few very wealthy people, and they all say the same: "yes we have seen bigger and more luxurious places, but we have never ever experienced such an atmosphere and such a vibe as we just did in your Home.
On top of that, being only a few minutes away from Poitiers train station from which you can get to Paris in less than 1h30 minutes, that is very unique! Poitiers is a lovely mediavle cute city with amazing wine and delicious food!
