Very responsive host. We know the area and glad we found a rental here. Enjoyed the quick walk to beach and the large front porch. Great outdoor shower and plenty of covered parking.

This is a quintessential Atlantic coast beach house. Well maintained and clean. We had everything we needed during our stay. We loved the front porch where we enjoyed several meals. We would definitely stay again if our trip dates match an opening.

Host was very quick to respond when we has a slight hiccup with checking in. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for all 8 of us. This house is positioned within a 2-3 min walk to the nearest beach access. Grocery stores and restaurants are a very short mile or 2 drive away. All in all we had a very good vacation and would recommend this property.

This house is absolutely perfect, it has everything you could need while staying for vacation. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into providing the essentials for your stay as well as bonus items (that were so much appreciated) like beach chairs, a beach wagon, sand toys, bikes. The home is clean and very well kept. The layout of the house is perfect for a larger family traveling together with the split bathrooms and bedrooms. Very kid friendly with the bunk bed room. The living room is cozy, comfortable and clean couches. We loved the close beach access, less than a 5 minute walk. We loved having a covered space with chairs and the picnic table on the back porch where we could sit and relax and still be outside while it was raining. You can see the ocean from the back porch as well. The host is very responsive and texted us as soon as we checked in with her personal cell so we could reach out if we needed. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend this house to anyone looking to enjoy beautiful Oak Island!

Family Beach weekend

We had a great weekend with family in Oak Island. The place is very family friendly for children of all ages and has lots of amenities available. Very convenient and a close walk to the beach.

Everything was clean and just as advertised. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and the extra robe hooks were huge plus! It rained our whole trip, but we had plenty of space inside to visit. Beach access was close, and the area was really quiet. We hope to come back.

Oak Island vacation

The house was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable for the 5 adults that were staying. The location is convenient to the beach and other amenities (groceries, souvenirs, restaurants) This is our second visit to this house and we’ll be back!
