Beautiful Breeze is a 4 BR 2 BA beachfront cottage with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen & living room. It has a 180 degree ocean view, spacious oceanfront screened porch with plenty of seating, a large sunny deck area, and an outside rinse station.

This oceanfront cottage sleeps up to 8 people. All bedrooms have new 12 inch Queen Medium Firm Memory Foam Mattresses and blackout curtains.

This cottage is conveniently located near Middleton Park, Ocean Crest Pier, Island Way Restaurant, The Pepperoni Grill, Kings Beach shop, tennis & pickleball courts, Food Lion grocery, and Publix grocery.

Keyless door lock entry provides easy access.

This is a NON-SMOKING and NO PETS cottage.

Rental includes 5 ROKU Smart TVs, free high-speed Wi-Fi, board games, books, W/D, HVAC, D/W, a fully equipped kitchen, and ceiling fan/light combos in each room.

Lower level storage has a variety of beach toys and supplies. Small outdoor utility sink and picnic table are in shaded area under the cottage.

Basic starter cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and dish detergent provided.

Charming house, right on the beach. Excellent location, close to all that Oak Island has to offer…summer concerts in the park a short walk away, the pier, many restaurants, marsh walks/fishing. Groceries about a 3 minute drive. Highly recco making the short drive to Southport, great food and views. Overall great stay. Owner was very responsive. Highly recommend for a wonderful, laid back beach vacation.

Great place! The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked and we loved having a keurig and regular coffee maker to choose from. Bedrooms had wall mounted tv, blackout curtains and comfy beds. Loved the screened in porch… Ample seating there and on the attached open deck/porch. Allen was gracious to offer recommendations, tips, etc. if/when needed. Bonus! There was a turtle nest close to us and we got to see 52 baby turtles make their way up out of the nest and into the ocean! It was the coolest thing! Great stay, great place! We’ll be back!

Cute house. Well stocked kitchen. Bed was comfortable but the bedrooms were all a little warm and need more air flow. There were no linens provided and we thought linens were part of the weekly rental cost. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Wonderful Vacay

It was great that the house has been remodeled! But, the large screen- in porch was our favorite, we spent most of our time there. Also the kids really appreciated all the water toys . Wonderful place to relax.

Fantastic October Beach Vacation!

We so enjoyed our Fall beach trip to Oak Island - the location of the property is perfect, with awesome views and beach access - being right on the beach is key with little kids. The house has been renovated beautifully, and is well appointed. We'll definitely be back!

Great House

Perfect house for 4 friends or 4 couples. Spacious screened porch and deck overlooking the ocean. Good sized bedrooms and two remodeled baths. Kitchen is also updated and has everything you need. Owner is a rock star.

Island Respite

When my friends and I made these reservations, we had no idea how much we would need this respite! We were blessed by the amount of dishes, small appliances, pans and utensils provided in the kitchen; we spent hours on the back porch, even in lower temps, drinking tea and watching the waves. We did jigsaw puzzles, watched movies, and read and studied in the living area. We were able to hop out and take a daily walk on the beach. Just a perfect time!

Location and Back Porch!!!

The unit is perfectly equipped with all your vacation needs - from a well-stocked kitchen, beach chairs, beach toys to good books & board games. Having the beach as your backyard with an outdoor shower - allowed the freedom to play and come in for meals and then back out. We lived on the back porch! Whether in the screen or the sun deck - just perfect. There is a brand new Publix within 2 miles and we had the best burger at Little Bit Grill. Allen is so great to work with and was super quick to respond to any questions. If you need a relaxing and quiet getaway - I highly recommended Beautiful Breeze! The small details we enjoyed - provided hand soap in bathrooms and kitchen, provided dishwasher tabs, provided Roku/WiFi, provided cleaning products, and provided coffee with filters!

We feel duped!

We were NOT advised ahead of time about the sand project! We never had a chance to get on the beach. Rare view as it was obstructed 24/7 with construction equipment and bldgs! Very discouraged.

just the property we were looking for .

the property owner was really great and very helpful,the house was very clean the beds were great.their was a seperate thermostat in every bedroom for individual comfort as well as tv's in every bedroom which was great for the kids.although I didn't do a lot of tv watching because I was there for the beach views and boy the beach is right out the back door.I would get up about 4 every morning and go out on the enclosed deck and watch the waves. there is also a deck thats not enclosed which was great for sun bathing. this was the first time my Grandkids had been to the beach.Adelynn the oldest said and I quote 'This is the best time I ever had" which made it worth it all. the house had everything we neededfor a great vacation.so I would have to give it a five star. you won't be disapointed if you booked this for your get away.thanks Allen and vrbo. patricia wiget.

Wonderful place to stay for beachfront rental! Clean with all the comforts of home. The dual porch (1/2 screened, 1/2 uncovered) is a perfect match for shade or sun! So conveniently located to grocery shopping and restaurants.My mom loved the beach decor! I would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Easy access path to the beach. Wish the dunes were not so high so you are able to see the beach itself better but enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch and the house was nicely decorated and comfortable.The host was easy to get in touch with and very hospitable.

We are a fun and active family that loves to travel. We especially love warmer climates and the ocean! We live in the Midwest and look forward to our visits to Oak Island, NC. We also enjoy sharing our hidden gem in Oak Island with extended family, friends, and VRBO guests. As parents of an active teenager we enjoy watching our son play sports and being an involved Eagle Scout! When we come to Oak Island it is all about relaxing, eating fresh seafood, and enjoying the beach.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Oak Island in 2001 and have been vacationing here ever since. We are beyond thrilled to own this piece of this paradise! We love that Oak Island is full of beach cottages and homes rather than huge condos, skyscrapers and hotels. We prefer the family-oriented quiet atmosphere of Oak Island, local restaurants rather than chain restaurants, and the southern charm of Southport. Watching sunrises and sunsets from the deck is beyond beautiful. Although Oak Island has grown over the years it has not lost its small town charm. They have improved outdoor parks and recreational activities by adding tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts, a small water park, walking paths, nature trails, farmers market and more. Oak Island is the best kept secret in NC!

What makes this property unique

The view of the ocean is amazing. The screened in porch is roomy and wonderful. The outside deck is great for sunbathing and relaxing. We love the location near Ocean Crest Pier, Middleton Park, close to Food Lion, restaurants and shops. If you love thrift shops then Oak Island is for you! Beautiful Breeze was first updated Jan/Feb 2020 with a new roof, new interior paint, new flooring, new beds, and new kitchen items. Then unfortunately Hurricane Isaias caused damage in August 2020. After fighting with insurance companies for over a year we are finally remodeling our home again to be ready for the 2022 Summer season! All beachfront homes have to deal with the harsh weathering due to the salt, sea, winds, storms, hurricanes, sand and sun. Thankfully we have a great crew that helps us keep up with Mother Nature!
