Papakea D208 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo featuring amenities such as an ocean view, a washer/dryer, and air-conditioning. Located on the second floor, this condo can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests with a Queen bed in the bedroom and a Queen sleeper sofa in the main living area. The open-concept living room features Hawaiian-theme furniture with tropical decorations, a large flat-screen TV, and a window A/C unit.

Retreat to the bedroom with a Queen-size bed and a ceiling fan. The updated bathroom boasts a large vanity space with custom cabinets and a Shower/Tub combo. Pack light and take advantage of the unit's washer and dryer for added convenience. Unwind on the private lanai with a dining table for 2 and a lounge chair. Dine al fresco on the lanai while enjoying the view. A dining table for 4 is equipped in the unit so you may enjoy the view from inside with large sliding doors and windows. The remodeled kitchen is fully equipped featuring custom cabinets, granite countertops, recessed lighting, and full-size appliances. Ample counterspace makes meal prepping a breeze and provides additional counter seating for 3.

*** Notice of Property Plumbing Project:
- Papakea Resort is performing a property-wide extensive plumbing project and you may hear some noise during this time. Work in this unit begins February 27th, 2025, with an estimated completion for this unit projected on or around March 27th, 2025.
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
- We have been notified that the project is pending completion around June 2026. We have decreased rates during these dates to compensate for any inconvenience. ***

Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

Nice Place - Well located

Resort is on a small beach and well located. Close to grocery story (short walk) and an ABC store is adjacent to the property. The unit met all our basic needs with everything we needed for our stay. Washer and dryer in the unit worked well. I would come back again

Nice condo complex. Pool and hot tub was good, beautiful backdrop of water, mountains and sunsets. The grounds are well taken care of. Condo unit was in decent shape, except shower door was broken and air conditioner could be better but otherwise could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Great condo, location and resort

Well equipped condo on 2nd floor, great view of grounds. You can also see the ocean and the neighboring island of Molokai. There is no beach except a low tide there is sand and its walk-able, but its a 5 minute walk to a regular beach. You can actually snorkel right in from of the resort, and I was amazed by the number of fish and coral. The condo has boogie boards, snorkel sets and beach towels. Would certainly stay there again.

Great location, beautiful grounds

Stayed here with my husband for 6 nights. The location was perfect... so close to shopping, grocery, breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Everything within walking distance or within a 15 min drive. The grounds, pool, bbqs and oceanfront views were the highlights of our stay. As for the condo, it was comfortable. Only issues were that the back bedroom can get a bit warm (AC is only in the living room.) Shower curtain had some mildew stains as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay considering the great rate we got.

6 Day Getaway

Location was excellent. Climate Control needs some attention-fan in bedroom never got past slow speed and made noise(had to ask for more fans), A/C in living room had check filter light on and would shut off on occasion. Property needs some simple TLC. I would stay at this resort but probably look for another condo to stay in.

Aloha, We stayed in room D208. I have something to let you know about. That the bathroom vanity overhead lights are not functioning. They have barely any light coming from them. Perfect location

We love coming back to Papakea! It's such a gem, perfectly located, and beautifully landscaped. I love falling asleep lulled by the sound of the water fountains outside and the cool breeze from the ocean! It has a beach within 1 minute's walking distance, a coffee place across the street, two grocery stores nearby, and a bunch of places to eat. During our stay we needed some help with the condo and called the maintenance office on three occasions. Each time somebody came promptly and fixed our problem (one time it was cause we didn't know how to turn on the TV...). The unit itself is very convenient, has a fully stocked kitchen, and everything a vacationer may need. We stayed there for about two weeks, and most of the meals were cooked in that kitchen. The only thing that might need work is the pull-out bed that was pretty old and uncomfortable. Overall a great value!

First impressions mean alot to me so when I see little things I wonder about others. The screens in bedroom window were so covered in dust that when I used the on site vacuum it came off in clumps. Went to wipe the burner plate on the Mr.Coffee machine and it was encrusted with caramelized coffee. Really a $50 purchase would take this negative away. The seat supports in living room chair are shot so when you sit your butt is not far off the carpet. Also on arrival some of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. The dishwasher has an off odor to it so suspect that the filter needs to be changed. Also the air conditioner had a red light on saying filter needs changing. Too much furniture on the balcony making it hard to move around. All in all it seems very little TLC is applied to this condo.

Basic needs met

First off this unit will meet all your basic needs. It has a well functioning kitchen, complete bathroom, and a comfortable bed. There’s also a washer and dryer and everything you need for a day at the beach. And the view is spectacular. That being said - this unit has not been updated in quite a while. The kitchen is straight out of the 80’s with cheap cupboards and laminate counters. Same with the bathroom. The artificial flowers throughout the unit don’t help. The bathroom fan is in desperate need of replacement, every time it’s turned on it sounds like a jet taking off. The TVs are small but that might not be in important to everyone. The furniture is NOT comfortable, especially the chair. The furniture outside is fine though I wish there were two lounge chairs. The washer and dryer are VERY small. I want to reiterate that this unit will meet your basic needs. And the grounds are spectacular. We enjoyed our stay and will return to Papakea, just not this unit.

The property was in a great location, close to restaurants and food trucks and abc store. Beach access was ver close. Having the chairs, beach towels, cooler and snorkel gear was a bonus and we used them every day. Also having a washer dryer on the beach was a must for us.
