Great house

A trip to Paradise

I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had. The hosts were incredible. We got list and they came and found us at 1 in the morning and led us to our home away from home. They also brought us some groceries so we could eat something before retiring as well as some breakfast items. The home was very well appointed, comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner each day. We enjoyed the birds and nature and the quiet that surrounded us. It was truly magical and so restorative. We were able to use their bikes and followed the hosts recommendation for small markets, a wonderful place for pastries and baguettes. gîte fonctionnel entièrement équipé, au calme dans une nature qui permet de se ressourcer, grands espaces qui permettent de promener en toute sécurité le soir mon petit scottish terrier, nous avons apprécié à notre arrivée les petits bouquets de fleurs disposés dans tout le gîte, le dessin de bienvenue des petits enfants des propriétaires, la discrétion des enfants et petits enfants, tout est calme et repos après des journées de visite, lieu parfait pour séjourner 11 nuits. Nous avons échangé un instant de générosité avec les propriétaires autour d'un thé/café où nous avons découvert des personnes passionnées par ce qu'elles font et notamment la propriétaire artiste peintre mais également par l'art de recevoir chez eux. Le gîte est très bien conçu avec une salle de douche en bas et une salle de bain à l'étage qui ne permet pas de prendre de douche. J'aurais juste une petite suggestion à faire c'est de mettre des shower cap à disposition dans la salle de douche qui n'a pas de douchette, pour les personnes qui ne l'ont pas remarqué et qui auraient oublié d'en prendre ;) Gîte où l'on se sent bien, à refaire et à recommander. Wundershöne Umgebung

Die Eigentümerin war sehr herzlich und um unser Wohl sehr bemüht. Alles notwendige war da, wenn man Sonntags anreist, auch eine Grundausstattung von haltbaren Lebensmitteln, Salz und Zucker. Das Grundstück ist extrem gepflegt. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Remarquable séjour dans une maison merveilleuse !

Ce logement est magnifique entouré d’une terrasse équipée privative, d’une grande nature et de jardins entretenus. La maison est pleine de charme, en pierres et boiseries et richement décorée et bien équipée, avec un immense cheminée à foyer ouvert. La literie est confortable et les chambres sont spacieuses, le linge de maison est superbe et plein de petites attentions sont présentes et facilite le séjour. Merci pour les livres et jeux enfants, les vélos et le bois, l’accueil, les lits faits, la propreté, le chauffage et le calme de cette magnifique propriété! La situation est idéale près de la mer et de Ste mère l’église, un point idéal pour la partie ouest du débarquement et le Cotentin. C’est très plaisant d’être si bien reçus! Merci!

Alles wunderbar!

Ein wunderschönes Haus in sehr idyllischer, grüner und ruhiger Umgebung mit sehr netten, unkomplizierten Vermietern! Gut ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Wir haben mit den Fahrrädern, die wir netterweise von unseren Vermietern geliehen bekommen haben, die Umgebung erkundet. Zum Strand ca. 10 min! Es hat uns super gefallen, ein rundum perfekter Urlaub-wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Gîte dans le Parc d’un Manoir Normand

Ce Gîte au calme est une dépendance d’un manoir Normand typique. Il est tout à fait conforme au descriptif, et l’on s’y sent très bien. Calme absolu et beauté du lieu sont réels. Le gîte lui-même est très cosy et confortable, meublé à l’ancienne pour amoureux des vieilles pierres, des meubles anciens et de l’ambiance vintage, tout en bénéficiant du confort moderne. Le parc du manoir est magnifique. En revanche, Ravenoville est situé un peu loin de tout, ce qui rend l’utilisation de la voiture obligatoire pour tout déplacement, et l’on est davantage à la campagne qu’à la mer, même si celle-ci est située à seulement 3KM. A louer sans hésiter !

Deuxième séjour dans cette maison qui nous a semblé encore plus belle et plus confortable (parfaitement bien chauffée, parfaitement équipée, parfaitement propre) que la première fois. Un endroit idéal et une propriétaire aussi sympathique qu'efficace ! On espère revenir !

Maison très agréable

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette maison à Ravenoville. La maison est ancienne, au cœur d’une belle propriété normande. Elle est très bien arrangée et présente tout le confort dont on peut avoir besoin. Les propriétaires, qui logent dans la maison principale, sont très accueillants et réactifs à la moindre demande.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits à "Portbail". L'accueil était très clair et sympa. Les installations au sein de la maison étaient variées et fonctionnelles. Un cadre naturel magnifique et surtout le calme.

Un lieu enchanteur

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine : l'accueil des propriétaires était délicieux et la maison extrêmement agréable, bien aménagée et joliment décorée. La petite cour fermée et le jardin arboré, ainsi sa situation à l'écart de la route, en pleine campagne, la rendent très calme et idéale pour les enfants.

House in Ravenoville

Property lacks much for renters I am afraid, especially American visitors. We were not told not to take a shower upstairs because it would leak when checking in. Only two bathrooms, one downstairs, small beds, shower that did exist had no enclosure and the water went all over the floor every time we bathed. NO mirrors in any of the bedrooms to dress by and no electric plugs for hairdryers or curling irons. We are entertainers and minus these things made it very difficult to get ready for our performances. So this house did not work for us.
