This beautiful private apartment, owned by a contemporary artist, is set on a quiet La Jolla hillside and offers a peaceful residential atmosphere. Filled with natural light and distinctive mid-century–inspired luxury décor, the space provides a calm and inspiring retreat. We welcome short stays, extended seasonal guests, and longer-term visits from UCSD and Scripps professionals, visiting scholars, and traveling professionals seeking comfort, privacy, and a refined coastal setting.

The space
This beautiful apartment’s private entry welcomes you into a large open modern living room space that is artistically decorated and offers lots of natural sunlight. There is an additional spacious bedroom with a queen bed for 1 or 2 guests, a working desk, lots of closet space and a window seat looking out to a private courtyard. Both the living room and bedroom connect to a full private bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, a toaster oven, coffee pot and a hotplate to cook on. Filtered wáter is provided. This apartment is located only 5 minutes driving distance (1.5miles) from beaches and downtown La Jolla where you may enjoy shops, restaurants and beautiful walks along the La Jolla Cove. Mt Soledad Memorial Park is a 20 minute walk with breathtaking views. Free parking available on site.

Soladad Mountain House

Lori’s place is great, it’s very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. It’s in a quiet area but 15 mins max to hiking, many beach and restaurants. The laundry service was also great.

A beautiful Suite looking down over LaJolla and SanDiego with outstanding views of the area. Quiet secluded neighborhood and located close to most of the popular attractions in this area. Lori, the property manager was very friendly and was there for us for every need or questions that we had. She was the best! We highly recommend!
