Our guest house is located in the heart of the Baker historic neighborhood in a hip, diverse, urban setting. Situated on a quiet, tree-lined street, the apartment reflects an eclectic, artistic style. There is original art throughout, exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, ceramic tiles, and a mix of old and new. It is nice, relaxed and clean and comfortable.

This is a great place to stay while in Denver, whether for work or play. The idea for our guest house was to create a place that we would want to stay while we are in town!

This ground floor unit is 700 sq. ft. with a private entrance to your home away from home, with free on-street parking, as well as wi-fi, a full kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave, plus a washer/dryer in the unit. The bedroom is very large with a queen bed and a work area with a desk.

There is a shared patio off the bedroom that is situated in a beautiful, mature garden. Our guests really like this feature, they say it's a great place to sit and enjoy their morning coffee.

A three-block walk to unique boutiques, vintage furniture stores, indie movies, bookstores, coffee houses, yoga, pilates, and a great mix of restaurants and nightlife. A couple of distilleries have opened including the locally owned Denver Distillery.

It’s an 8-block walk to light rail, a 3-minute drive to the Santa Fe Arts District with scores of galleries, a 5- to 7-minute drive to downtown, and a 10-minute drive to the Cherry Creek shopping district. You can walk or drive to the Denver Art Museum, the Clyfford Still Museum and the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art.

A lot of our guests include travel nurses, who are looking for their home away from home while they work at nearby hospitals for an extended time; grandparents who want to stay in a place of their own while they visit their kids and new grandchildren; digital nomads and couples on vacation. We have many repeat guests who book with us every time they come to Denver!

Absolutely amazing stay

Bari was an incredible host. I stayed for the month and had nothing but a great experience. The place is so cute, easily walkable to south broadway and very cozy. I loved the outside space and worked out there most days. The garden was very cute! I have nothing negative to say at all.

Comfortable and convenient

Staying at Bari’s place for a few months was just right. The location was great. I had everything I needed upon arrival to start working temporarily in Denver. The neighborhood is very cute and inclusive.

Perfect spot

My husband and I stayed here for 2 months and very much enjoyed the relaxed but well designed space. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and walkable to lively Broadway Ave. It fit our needs to be near family in the Baker neighborhood perfectly. Our interactions with host,Bari and others have been very positive. Without a doubt, We would stay here again.

Owner was easy to contact but there were issues with the apartment which he took care of but he was out of town so we had to be available for repairs. Bathroom was clean but the rest of the house needed dusting and wiped down.

Cozy hidden gem

We really enjoyed our long term stay at Bari’s place! We had everything we needed to get started in a new state after moving cross country. The location was perfect for us and we were able to explore all of the neighborhoods in Denver easily from Baker. There are tons of places that are walkable and the neighborhood is lovely. We highly recommend staying here you won’t regret it!

Quaint space for a getaway!

Bari and his property were great! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 months & worked remotely during the week. Walkable neighborhood & perfect size for 2! There is a train that runs through that can be quite loud in the middle of the night (scared me the first few nights) but not something that would deter me from coming back. Awesome spot!!!

Fabulous STAY in Denver

I stayed at this property for 7 weeks. I was able to spend time with my family through the holidays. This apartment was lovely, clean, efficient, and had a very safe feel. I loved walking through the historical BAKER neighborhood, neighbors were so helpful and friendly, shopping and restaurants were exceptional. I have already booked the same property for same time frame for next year. A great bargain.

A very big "thumbs up"

We stayed at Bari's rental the month of November and loved it! The vrbo listing was accurate - apt. was very clean and well-stocked. We especially love having a yard and patio. The location is great - not far from downtown, a block to a small park, and just a few blocks to great restaurants on Broadway. Sue - Bari's onsite "helper" was a great neighbor and resource. We'd definitely recommend this apt. and hope to return soon.

Quiet area in a bustling neighborhood

My partner and I rented Bari’s Guest House for a long-term stay, and it was everything that we could have hoped for. Parking was on street, but we never had an issue finding a space. Great restaurants, breweries and shopping can be found within a 5 minute walk, and Trader Joe’s is a 7 minute drive. The in-unit laundry and dishwasher were on the smaller side, but it is absolutely perfect for 1-2 people. The bed and couch were both extremely comfortable, and the heat kept us warm during a Rocky Mountain winter. From check-in to check-out, Bari was a gracious, welcoming host, I would recommend this property to friends, family, or anyone looking to spend some time in the amazing city of Denver.

Perfect location, gracious host

I stayed about a month and half at Bari's place and it was a perfect medium-term stay in Denver. The Baker neighborhood is very walkable and bike-able. So much so that I rarely drove my car (except to drive up into the mountains). I really enjoyed the art in the apartment and everything was functional although some appliances / furniture are starting to show their age. Bari was one of the most responsive host I've had the pleasure to communicate with. The train horns are disturbing as another review mentioned, and since it's an older building, you can hear the neighbors and various utility noises but you get used to it. Overall, I would recommend it!

Fantastic stay in Baker

My girlfriend and I lived here for a month while working remotely in Denver. We loved the neighborhood and how walkable all the Broadway shops and restaurants are. We truly didn’t want to leave. We rely on fast internet for our jobs and we were able to make video calls no problem. Such a good location, cozy apartment with everything you’ll need, and very friendly neighbors. We highly recommend a stay here!

An Amazing Month

If you’re looking for a comfortable, quaint place to stay in an AMAZING neighborhood, look no further! My boyfriend and I both work remotely, and were able to WFH from this Vrbo full-time for a month. We absolutely loved the fact that this place is only a few blocks from South Broadway, and found tons of great restaurants and bars that we’ll miss immensely now that we’re gone. Additionally, because this place is close to downtown, Ubers to Ball Arena, The Paramount, and other similar places are cheap and easy to get! As skiers, we were able to get to Breck/Keystone in 1.5 hours, and Vail in under 2. We love this place so much, and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Thanks for the memories, Denver! We’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in the Baker District. The home was comfortably furnished with all necessary for a lengthy stay including a full kitchen and washer and dryer. There was an desk in the bedroom and a printer. There are a number of original works of art created by the owner which add to the ambience of the apartment. The patio in the rear was comfortable for having all our meals and the large side yard, unusual for this part of Denver, was a pleasant place to sit. There are two permanent residents in the building who were very welcoming and helpful. The Baker District is a residential area that is evolving. We took many walks in the evenings and looked at the houses and the gardens. A major commerical street, Broadway, in just 3-4 block from the home. I would highly recommend this rental. Roger B. Cozy and Convenient!

We loved this property, the location and the people! This apartment was perfect. It felt like a home away from home. It had everything that you could think of. Kitchen fully stocked-we cooked 3 meals a day in this kitchen for 4 months and had all the pots/pans/utensils that you need. Large comfortable bed/bedroom. Lots of really hot water! Great little patio for morning coffee and perfect garden for our dog. The location was great! The property is located on a dead end street so not much traffic. Street parking was never an issue. The location is minutes away-walking distance- to coffee shops, restaurants, entertainment, parks and more. Grocery store just around the corner too. I felt very safe walking in the evenings or coming home late at night. Very nice park a block away. Bari, Mike and Leslie are awesome! I felt like I was leaving family! Thank you Bari for everything! Home Away From Home

Living here for a month had an instant but lasting “homey” feeling, like one has always been in this apt and in this lovely neighborhood. The apt feels like a home, not a sterile (hotel) interior with mass produced furnishings forgettable the minute one departs. I will remember this place well and the kind, bighearted owner plus the gracious neighbors who all impressed me with indelibly good memories. A place to settle into and appreciate, that is what I like about it. It is a good place, please support it. A gem and I am grateful for the time here. TW
