The owners live above the Airbnb. We're a couple in our mid-40s/early-50s, and we live upstairs. We both work from home. For the most part, we're pretty quiet, but the house is old so you might hear us getting ready for the day in the morning, and winding down at night.

We will confirm check-in details with you beforehand, but will not plan to knock on your door and introduce ourselves because, welp, that's creepy. (However, we are more than happy to meet you if you'd like to introduce yourself!)

When the weather is nice, you may see us working in the yard or sitting outside with a tasty beverage.

We have 3-ish indoor/cats. If you prefer no interaction with your host or hate cats, then this is probably not the place for you.

If we are home, we're happy to answer any questions in person. Or, just shoot us a text!

Why they chose this property

We love living in this neighborhood for its walkability - especially to City Park. During the summer, we attend City Park Jazz festival every Sunday. It's the highlight of our summer every year!

What makes this property unique

CATS:
Owners have 3 (possibly more - cats just show up around here ...) indoor/outdoor cats.

Two of the cats will scram when they see you, but the 3rd one loves the apartment. If you leave the door open, he might just take that as an invitation to stop by and say "Meow" to our guests.

If you have severe cat allergies or despise cats - this might not be the place for you.

CAT LOVE NOT GUARANTEED! We have had a few cat lovers come through who were disappointed that our cats didn't stop by. They tend to be more visible in the summer, but don't be mad if they don't come by. They have minds of their own, and are often out and about on official cat business.


Also, as much as we enjoy dogs, we are unable to accommodate guests with dogs at this time. We do not want to run the risk of our cats getting into a scuffle with your dog! (Of course, service animals are welcome!)
