Hello, travelers and adventurers! Welcome to the Locust Street Firehouse, located in charming Downtown Lodi.

We took this once-abandoned Locust Street home and lovingly renovated it into a comfortable, tastefully decorated vacation retreat while preserving the vintage character that makes it so special. And there may be a little history within these walls—rumor has it, this house was once Lodi’s old downtown firehouse!

A little about us…

Our families have deep roots in Lodi, dating back to the early 1910s. For four generations, our family has been involved in Lodi’s wine and agricultural community. Andy has been a grape farmer his entire life, while Janice spent more than 20 years as a registered nurse.

We still call Lodi home, living just outside of town in the country, where we love gathering our large—and ever-growing—family for holidays, celebrations, good food, and plenty of Lodi wine.

We hope you enjoy the Firehouse and our hometown as much as we do. Whether you’re here to explore Lodi Wine Country, visit family and friends, or simply relax for a few days, we’re happy to have you and hope you feel right at home.

We’ve always loved the charm of Downtown Lodi, especially its beautiful tree-lined streets and the way they showcase the changing seasons. There’s something special about being able to slow down, take a walk, and enjoy the character of an established neighborhood while still being just a few blocks from the heart of downtown.

When we began to host at the Locust Street Firehouse, it was important to us that our guests could experience Lodi the way we do—on foot and at a relaxed pace. From the house, you can stroll downtown to enjoy local restaurants, boutique shops, tasting rooms, breweries, coffee shops, and community events, then wander back home through the tree-lined streets.

We love that the neighborhood offers the best of both worlds: the charm and character of an older Lodi neighborhood with the convenience and energy of Downtown just a short walk away.

What makes the property especially unique is its character and history. We lovingly brought this once-abandoned home back to life, blending its vintage charm with modern comforts. It’s a little piece of Lodi character in the heart of Wine Country.
