The home was perfect for our two families. The location is beautiful and near amazing hiking trails. Access to the private beach was wonderful. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cooking accessories. We had a great time and highly recommend.

Great stay in roomy Tahoe house

We bought this home afer having a small rustic place near Tahoma, that we found lacking in some ways, so we knew what we wanted when we saw it. We now have little grandchildren, so we were looking for a place that was family-friendly, but would also provide a bit of space when desired- thus we loved the downstairs family room for the youner generation(s) to hang out, play games watch T.V. A beautiful house in a beautiful spot uphill from the lake! Great mix of lake and trail access. Good, well-equipped, and comfortable home base for a week with extended family. Perfect for 8-10; 12 might have been a little tight, with kids and couples having to line up just right for the beds.

I agree that the private beach is a huge asset! That is a big reason why we bought this home- we owned another more rustic cabin near Tahoma before this one, and we recognized how great it would be to have a place that could accommodate two families, with room for the adults to have their own space upstairs and the children downstairs. In total we have owned at Tahoe for over 30 years, and are very familiar with the West Shore and the beaches, so we recognized how great our private beach is. You are much more adventurous than I am- no zip line for me!

Beautiful house

Beautiful house and close to the lake. We really enjoyed the private beach area. The only change we would add is newer patio furniture. We had a wonderful weekend.

Great place to stay.

This is a great place to stay with a few families. Good size kitchen, family room and bedrooms. Parking is a little tough when you have big vehicles. I’m glad there wasn’t fresh snow/ice because it would be hard to park the vehicles. Would stay here again. Great communication with the owner.

Great Family Home

My family celebrated Thanksgiving at the home and had a wonderful time. This home was perfect for all ages and also large enough to have some private space. Everything was very clean and decorated to enhance the environment of the location. The hosts are a pleasure to work with and very accomodating to any needs we had. I highly recommend a stay in the summer or winter.

4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July at the home! Loved the beach access and close proximity to hikes, restaurants and more! House worked perfectly- we grilled many nights and family and friends.

A Great Family Reunion Site!!

Our family had a great reunion at Talmont Timbers this past month. The beautiful house accommodated us perfectly with plenty of room, a wonderful kitchen area, and two secluded and very relaxing decks. We spent most of our time during the day at the Tahoe Beach Park which really cannot be beat. The house was well supplied with everything we needed. We will certainly be spending another vacation there soon.

Tahoe City Cabin

Overall, the cabin was a great experience. It was as advertised. It really can sleep a large group. The kitchen is also well equipped with pots, pans, etc. All the appliances work well. It is also close to many conveniences and Lake Tahoe. The HOA private beach that you can access is really nice.

Comfortable and Spacious

We are a family of 5 and had two additional guests with us. This was the perfect spot. Plenty of room and a very spacious common space for all of us to enjoy. Location is great. Easy drive into Tahoe City for shopping and groceries. Janine is a great host. She was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
